The Office provides efficient technical and IT services to the UMT community. The OTS comprises of Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Network Management and Support Section (NMS). OTS strives to encourage, solicit, induct, incorporate, implement, upgrade and continuously transform efficient, useful, cutting-edge technology in its totality at UMT as it progresses towards its goal. The team believes technology to be the second most critical success factor after human resources in shaping UMT as knowledge based community. The OTS team also enables UMT to connect in every possible way internally and externally and employs the most advanced tools to achieve the best possible results in terms of academic excellence, outstanding research, and knowledge service at all levels. The main priority of OTS is to meet all kinds of IT challenges through well thought out policies. And it is doing just that on account of a team of dedicated professionals who are always at hand to solve IT related problems and work towards expansion and betterment of the campus wide network.
