The Riebeek West farm road cycle trail starts in 7,8km Gouda Voortrekker Road, in front of the Dutch Reformed Church. There is ample parking in the street. Up gradient Tar road Travel north along Voortrekker Road until you Down gradient Sand road reach the top of a short incline where a right turn to Gouda is indicated. Take this and sail down the hill towards the silos and Riebeek West Station. Just beyond the road 33°21'5"S 33°18'30"S 6,5km 18°52'14"E becomes sand. 18°51'19"E Cross over the railway line (take care, this line is in 10,6km use!) and ride between endless vineyards. At the 4,7km point the road makes a sharp left turn and you continue down a gentle decline, until once again the railway line appears on your left. Shortly thereafter take a left turn and cross the line once again. You will have the magnificent Winterhoek Mountains on 12,1km 33°19'11"S 4,7km PPC 18°55'43"E your right and at the top of a rise the road makes a 90° 33°19'15"S 18°51'2"E y line turn to the left. Keep on this until you reach a T-junction, Ongegund a c1815 ailw where you turn left towards R R R3 Birthplace of ailw Kasteelberg and PPC, where a 11 Gen JC Smuts y line you'll turn left again. Cross the railway line and

the road becomes tar. At the Riebek West into top of the hill turn left back into Riebeek West, passing 33°20'5"S Groenrivier on the right, and into Voortrekker Road once 14km 18°52'39"E 2,3km more, to the starting point. Enjoy the wonderful views of seemingly limitless vineyards, wheatfields and Kasteelberg.
