ORGANIZATION Camp Fire Minnesota POSITION President and Chief Executive Officer BRIEF Ballinger Leafblad is pleased to conduct the search for President and CEO at Camp Fire Minnesota in Excelsior, Minnesota. www.ballingerleafblad.com ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW With nature as the catalyst, Camp Fire energizes youth to discover their spark so their futures glow brighter. Camp Fire kindles an environment where all youth feel welcome, discover their sparks through nature, become stewards of the natural world, and develop as leaders. Founded in 1910, Camp Fire was the first nonsectarian, interracial organization for girls in the United States, which expanded to all youth in 1975. Today, Camp Fire Minnesota is a strong, growing organization with a mission to provide all youth with meaningful ways to experience and grow in nature. A recent capital campaign successfully raised over $6 million to further this mission. Additionally, Camp Fire is supported by The Minnesota Camp Fire Foundation which was established in 1996 to ensure a strong future for Camp Fire Minnesota. The organization is searching for a new President and CEO with a strong vision for Camp Fire's future and a deep commitment to nature equity, youth development and land-based learning. This position is open due to the transition of Marnie Wells who has successfully led Camp Fire Minnesota for almost 13 years. The President and CEO is responsible for bringing the mission to life. This role oversees the administration, programs, fundraising and the strategic plan of the organization.
