Candidates for the Washington State Legislature, Clark County Council and Clark County Charter Review Commission will participate in four forums sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Clark County.

The forums will be aired live on Clark/Vancouver Television and streamed on CVTV.org.

The forums provide “an opportunity for voters to become educated about the candidates so they can make informed decisions,” said Judy Hudson, co-chair of the League Forum Committee. “Both candidates are featured together and voters can see and compare how candidates think and answer questions.”

She noted that the League forums are disciplined and nonpartisan.

Co-chair Susan Fleming added that the forums also provide voters with some information about each position, such as major responsibilities, term of office and salary.
