Ecum enical chaplain program

Allegheny County commissioners recently authorized acceptance of $78,000 over a three-year period from the ecumenical chaplaincy committee of Christian Associates to fund an ecumenical chaplaln- ‘ cy position at the County Jail. Under the agreement, Christian Associates of Southwestern Penn­ sylvania will donate $26,000 per year to the county for each of the next three years to fund the Job, which formerly was a volunteer • position.
