AVS WIN PRESIDENTS’ TROPHY, DIVISION TITLE The Avalanche finished the season 39-13-4 (82 points), winning the Honda West Division and Presidents’ Trophy for the best record in the league. Colorado finished with its highest points percentage in franchise history (.732), breaking the previous mark of .720 set in 2000-01. The Avs, who went 5- 0-0 over the final seven days of the season, were the first team to win the Presidents’ Trophy in their final game of the year since in 2011-12.
