Thursday 13 May 2021 ‘Art attack’ in Bfn
This week St Michael’s School for Girls in Bloemfontein is hosting its Art, Music and Drama Festival, where they celebrate and appreciate the amazing talents of learners across the Free State province. This festival is the brainchild of the head of department of all the art subjects at the school, Dr Johan Cromhout (pictured), who rolled it out for the fi rst time in 2000. He explained to the publication that he started this festival because, as a teacher, he felt that learners have such little opportunities to showcase their talents and to perform.
