The Birds of Catapú Welcome to Catapú in Sofala Province, an area which has remained well-forested despite road construction and increased pressure by people living in poverty. A hotspot for bio-diversity, centre of flora, mammal, bird and insect research, including the unique TCT Catapu Cheringoma Herbarium. Unformatted birds are bound to be in the area, but to our knowledge, have not yet been recorded.
