As a teenager he played guitar for R&B/Pop super-group Blackstreet after landing an internship with Teddy Riley at Riley’s Virginia Beach compound, Future Recording Studios. With Riley as his mentor, Perkins began writing and producing his own records. , Perkins is a well sought after record producer based in Virginia Beach, VA. He has been consistent in helping burgeoning local artists and songwriters turn their ideas into market-competitive radio-ready recordings. Also an actor, he studied Meisner Technique with acting coach, Keith Flippen has been in several TV shows aired on channels such as Discovery, ID, Reelz and Destination America.
