Presentations ● Academic Integrity Task Force Recommendations, implementation work group planning, status update from Ed Tech (Lauren Wugalter, Shelly Page, Fawzi Belal, Lyall Rudenskjold, Shannon Waits, Ay Saechao, Terry Meerdink, Marc Lentini) ○ The group did introductions and then talked through the recommendations and which were a good idea as is ■ It’s a good idea to make the processes visible with a theme of understanding for students and faculty ■ #8 building a library of resources – liked the emphasis of feedback to faculty ■ #3 ■ #9 ■ Concerns about 5 – clarity for both faculty & students about having the option to share information ■ #6 – clarity requested for protecting faculty data ■ #7 – less clear – can it be explained or restated (for faculty not being targeted and making the information equitable) ■ #11 & #12 – concern of “going down the rabbit hole” ■ #13 – restrictions or limitations on making students use cameras ■ #14 – concern about lockdown browsers ○ Emily is hoping Ed Tech & the implementation team can figure out how to thread the needle for faculty & students ■ Implementation team is working on ■ Google assign (included in HC’s existing software license) ■ Question on who creates the modules – survey students and/or focus group for students and a website for students ■ Faculty should have an option to get assignments off Chegg – keep fighting ● Basic needs resource page for Canvas – Shawna Freeman & Marc Lentini ○ The idea/need came out of Guided Pathways work ○ Deliverables used to gather data ■ Student survey – Shawna will share with Emily ■ Resource page for canvas ■ Intro session for faculty 3/17 at 11a ■ Student focus groups ○ Question on web link maintenance – Shawna has committed to managing for the next year ○ Question on types of programs listed ■ Not academically based ■ Basic needs and integration of Maslow’s hierarchy ■ This effort is in everyone’s best interest organizationally ○ Thanks to Shawna for her efforts in making the resource available to students for Spring Quarter ● Title III – Lukens ○ May shared a PowerPoint displaying where we’re at in the grant application process. ○ We are working with a consultant to ensure the application is competitive. ○ The draft is due to the consultant on March 19th. ○ Please send any input/feedback to May.

Discussion ● CTCLink Update – Raegan ○ Raegan stressed the importance of the flow of information organizationally – please funnel questions through Raegan as Pillar Lead and share with faculty. ○ About 20 emails per minute have been coming in regarding PeopleSoft ○ She has been able to solve a huge number of problems. ● Returning to campus fall quarter: aiming for 25% capacity ○ Modalities will need to be updated for CTCLink. The new program represents a loss of functionality from the legacy system. ○ There’s a challenge with CTCLink mode codes vs the less restrictive SMS information ○ Tabling the issue for now for an meeting. Perhaps a collaboration CTCLink & JIIC group? ○ Information will be sent out on Wednesday with some information gathering. ○ Question on what does 25% mean? – 25% of classroom utilization ● Policy Updates – Justin ○ Justin will email the group regarding policy updates ● Syllabus Review – Gabrielle & Darin ○ We had a discussion at an IC meeting in . ○ Rubrics have been developed ○ Checklist from inclusive syllabus group ○ Volunteers will get a folder of syllabi to review ● Other Business ○ Reminder on Fee review from Marco. Next year there should be a different process.
