NOIDA: The installation of speedcams on expressways has led to an almost five-time jump in number of traffic challans issued to violators, but lack of address verification and postal delays have hampered the process of collecting fines.Speeding on expressways has attracted the most number of challans until November this year, seeing an almost 12-time rise to 1.7 lakh violations from a mere 14,452 a year ago. But the rate of fines being actually deposited is abysmally low.While the traffic management system has sent as many as 23,555 challans for speeding on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, only 610 violators have come forward to deposit fines with the traffic police.

Police officers said the reasons for this abysmal rate of fines being deposited ranged from violators not updating their addresses to notices not reaching in time.This gap has led to repeat offenders getting away, feel traffic officers. For instance, Delhi resident Vishvajeet Singh, who was issued as many as 72 challans for speeding on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway between August 30, 2016, and February 28 this year, was not found in the address where he had been getting the notices.

While his challan details referred to him as a resident of Kotla-Mubarakpur in Delhi, a visit to the spot revealed he had been staying there as a tenant and had vacated the house in March 2017.While some violators simply ignore the challans, others get to know about them only when a bailable warrant is issued against them from the CJM court — a process which takes at least six months.“It takes one or two months for sending these challans to the court, which then issues bailable warrants that go to the local police station. Most violators get to know about the challans only when they get the warrant,” said an officer. Traffic cops blamed the lack of address verification and postal delays. “There is no mechanism to check the address of a violator. Most people don’t get their address details updated and challans continue to reach their old houses. There are about 10-15 such cases every month where people come with their court summons, months after the challan has been issued, and complain that they did not get intimation,” an officer said.The tardy process of sending challans can also be attributed to the cost involved for postal service. According to police sources, when the challans reach them, a copy is sent to the violator through registered post, each of which costs about Rs 6. For those residing in other districts, sending a challan may cost up to Rs 40. The traffic police are dependent on the Noida Authority for funds for sending these posts.

The traffic police are now preparing to shift to postcards, which cost about 40-50 paise each, from registered/speed posts to send the challans.SP (traffic) Anil Jha said they were in talks with the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to generate postcard prints of challans so that a copy can be sent in the postcard format. “We hope the process will complete soon,” he said.

CHENNAI: Giving much relief for the public from serpentine queues at Regional Transport Offices (RTO), the transport department in coordination with National Informatics Centre (NIC) has upgraded the online parivahan portal to enable Learners Licence applicants to book appointments online. While passport offices had already introduced such a system years ago, the transport department is perhaps the first among the State government departments in introducing dedicated time slots for public services online.While filling the learners licence registration (LLR) applications online through upgraded portal (https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/) applicants will have another option to book their appointments for learners licence tests. “After uploading the relevant documents, the applicants will have an option to chose the timings to visit their respective RTO offices for taking tests. The system was introduced a week ago across Tamil Nadu,” V Balan, Joint Commissioner, Transport, told Express.

So far, the applicants were forced to wait for two to three hours at RTO offices for taking tests. At times, ‘agents’ at RTO offices used to take new applicants for tests skipping the queues. The new system is expected to reduce malpractices and ensure transparency in processing the applications.Officials at KK Nagar RTO office said the online portal will have preloaded list of applicants who had booked their appointments. “No new application can be processed for the learners licence tests, bypassing those who have already booked appointments. Thereby the system will reduce the waiting time at RTO offices,” official sources said.

The appointment system has been received well among the applicants, who say this is the first such service provided by a state government department.S Kumar, a learners licence applicant from K K Nagar said he was able to complete the procedures within 20 minutes, which normally in the past would have taken hours. “It has been several years since passport offices introduced such a system. All other services including driving licence and other taluk offices services should be upgraded to have time slots,” he added.

Since implementation, the Transport commissioner C Samayamoorthy has instructed RTO’s to adhere to the appointments, the sources said. Balan said once the new system is successfully implemented, for other transport services also appointment system will get extended.” About 5,500 learners licences are issued in a day in Tamil Nadu.Presently, all transport services, including issue of driving licence, registration certificate for new vehicle, transfer of vehicle, fitness certificate, change of address, name change and permit change are being processed through the upgraded software (https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/), developed by NIC for Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. In addition, all service charges and taxes are being received through online.

जागरण संवाददाता, ब¨ठडा : एनआइसी के वाहन चार सॉफ्टवेयर की तकनीकी कमी के कारण न तो ड्राइ¨वग लाइसᴂस ररन्य ू हो रहे हℂ, न ही ककसी वाहन की आरसी 絍ांसफर हो रही है। इसको लेकर लोग कई बार दफ्तरⴂ के चक्कर काट रहे हℂ, लेककन उनको यही जवाब भमलता है सॉफ्टवेयर चलने के बाद ही काम होगा। लेककन यह कब ठीक होगा यह ककसी को नहीं पता। ऐसे मᴂ जजन लोगⴂ के 31 अक्टू बर को ड्राइ¨वग लाइसᴂस एक्सपायर हुए हℂ, आरटीए और एसडीएम के ऑटोमेदटव टेस्ट 絍ैक के चक्कर काटते नजर आ रहे हℂ। मगर इनके ड्राइ¨वग लाइसᴂस कफर िी ररन्य ू नहीं हो पा रहे। इसके पीछे सॉफ्टवेयर मᴂ तकनीकी खामी कारण बताई जा रही है। ऐसे मᴂ अब इन लोगⴂ को 1 हजार 셁पये अनतररक्त जुमााना िरकर ही अपना डीएल ररन्य ू करवाना होगा, क्यⴂकक ननयम के मतु ाबबक लाइसᴂस एक्सपायर होने के एक महीने के िीतर ररन्य ू न करवाने पर सरकारी फीस के साथ जुमाना ा वसलू ा जाता है।गौर हो कक नेशनल इंफॉर्मेटटव सᴂटर (एनआईसी) के सॉफ्टवेयर मᴂ खाभमयⴂ के चलते बीते ददनⴂ कु छ जजलⴂ मᴂ कॉमभशायल ड्राइ¨वग लाइसᴂसⴂ मᴂ घोटाला पकडा गया था। इसके बाद 31 अक्टू बर से सॉफ्टवेयर मᴂ बैकलॉग एं絍ी का काम बंद कर ददया गया और सॉफ्टवेयर की खामी दरू करने के भलए लगातार बातचीत चलती रही, मगर तय कु छ िी नहीं हो पाया।

रोज ररन्य ू होने के ललए आते हℂ 50 डीएल, 50 आरसी:बैकलॉग एं絍ी मᴂ रोजाना करीब 50 ड्राइ¨वग लाइसᴂस और 50 आरसी ररन्य ू होने के भलए आती हℂ। जजन लोगⴂ के ड्राइ¨वग लाइसᴂस एक्सपायर हो गए हℂ, उनको 1000 셁पए जुमााना और ररन्य ू की फीस िरकर अपना ड्राइ¨वग लाइसᴂस ररन्य ू करवाना होगा। यह लेट फीस एक साल तक के भलए है। अगर कोई व्यजक्त कफर िी लाइसᴂस ररन्य ू नहीं कराता तो एक हजार 셁पए जुमााना प्रनत साल बढ़ता जाएगा। लाइसᴂस ररन्य ू कराने गया, तो बैकलॉग एं絍ी बंद होने की बात पता चली है। अब तो फाइन देकर ही डीएल ररन्य ू कराना पडेगा। इस कारण बंद की आईडी :जालंधर, पदटयाला और अमतृ सर मᴂ बैकलॉग एं絍ी मᴂ घपला होने की सचू ना भमलते ही एनआईसी ने 31 अक्टू बर को बैकलॉग एं絍ी का काम बंद कर सरकारी आईडी को ब्लॉक कर ददया था। काम बंद करने से पहले न तो कोई नोदटकफकेशन दी गई और न ही समय। अचानक काम बंद होने के कारण अब लोगⴂ को परेशाननयⴂ का सामना उठाना पड रहा है। अब दोबारा काम श셂ु करने के भलए नई आइडी बनाकर जारी की जाएगी। यह होती है बैकलॉग एंट्री :जजन लोगⴂ के ड्राइ¨वग लाइसᴂस या वाहन की आरसी बबना स्माटा धचप वाली है, उनका डाटा कं प्यटू राइज करने को बैकलॉग एं絍ी कहा जाता है। 2013 से पहले की डीएल-आरसी कं प्यटू राइज नहीं थी। अब धीरे-धीरे परु ाने डाटा को िी कं प्यटू राइज ककया जा रहा है।

कलेक्絍ेट पररसर मᴂ एनआइसी का कायाालय है। दोपहर करीब एक बजे जब पररसर मᴂ सन्नाटा पसर गया तो एनआइसी के कमाचारी कायाालय मᴂ डंप फाइलⴂ को बाहर ननकालकर जला ददया। डीएम कायाालय से सटे होने से आग की लपटⴂ को देखकर हडकंप मच गया। कु छ मीडडया कमी िी पहुंच गए। कैमरे का फ्लैश चमकते ही एनआइसी के कमाचारी पवरोध जताने लगे। िीड बढ़ती देखकर कमाचारी पीछे हट गया। फाइल जलाने की खबर उ楍चाधधकाररयⴂ तक पहुंची। हालांकक इस पर कोई कु छ बोलने को तैयार नहीं है। सोमवार को कायाालय खुलन े के बाद उ楍चाधधकाररयⴂ के कदम उठाने की बात कही जा रही है। जलाए गए बेकार कागजात

एनआइसी के प्रिारी सईद अंसार अहमद ररजवी ने बताया कक सीएम के आगमन को लेकर कायाालय की सफाई कराई गई थी। बेकार कागजात डंप रहे। जजन्हᴂ गोदाम से ननकालकर जलाया गया है। कोई िी महत्वपणू ा अभिलेख एनआइसी मᴂ नहीं रहता है।

पᴂशन नहीं आने पर बजु ुग ा समाज क쥍याण पविाग के कायाालय मᴂ पहुंचत े हℂ। जहां िीड होने के कारण उन्हᴂ काफी परेशाननयⴂ का सामना िी करना पडता है। िीड के कारण लोगⴂ को काफी इंतजार िी करना पडता है। साथ ही पविाग के अधधकाररयⴂ और कमाचाररयⴂ पर िी सही जानकारी न देने के आरोप लगते हℂ। समस्याओं के ननवारण व पᴂशन के पवतरण के काया को पारदशी बनाने के भलए ही एनआइसी ने यह एप तैयार ककया है। 80 हजार से 煍यादा हℂ बढ़ु ापा पᴂशनधारक

मोबाइल एप श셂ु होने से पᴂशनधारकⴂ की समस्याओं के ननदान मᴂ काफी हद तक राहत भमलेगी। करनाल जजले मᴂ 80 हजार से 煍यादा बढ़ु ापा पᴂशन धारक हℂ। वहीं 9 हजार पवकलांग, 40 हजार पवधवा व 8 हजार के करीब पवधवा के ब楍चⴂ की पᴂशन समाज क쥍याण पविाग 饍वारा जारी की जाती हℂ।

एसजेई हररयाण मोबाइल एप से पᴂशन संबंधधत जानकारी लेने के भलए एंड्रायड मोबाइल होना ज셂री है। इसे गगू ल प्ले स्टोर से आसानी से डाउनलोड ककया जा सकता है। वहीं गगू ल पर पविाग की साइट एसजेईएचआरवाइ डॉट जीओवी डॉट इन पर सबसे ऊपर इस मोबाइल एप का ¨लक ददया गया है। इसे यहां से िी डाउनलोड ककया जा सकता है। वजान- पᴂशन धारकⴂ के भलए पविाग ने एक मोबाइल एप बनाया है। जजसमᴂ कोई िी पᴂशनधारक अपनी पᴂशन की परू ी डडटेल ले सकता है। यदद उसकी पᴂशन नहीं आई तो उसे एप मᴂ पᴂशन आने का कारण िी ददखाई देगा।

Speaking at a meeting held at the DC’s office here on Tuesday, he said that landslides are expected to occur in the coming rainy season if the protective measures are not implemented. There are complaints regarding the slow pace of works in the preventive and compensatory measures taken by officials concerned. The department concerned should not ignore the works, said Kumar.

“The government has already released the required funds to the departments. The district administration should ensure that the works are carried out transparently. There is no room for mistakes,” he added.

He directed the engineers to complete all works within the next five months. Priority should be given to roads, school buildings, anganwadi and related works. Pictures showing the progress of work on minor and major irrigation projects and other projects in the jurisdiction of Urban Development Department should be uploaded on the National Informatics Centre (NIC) website along with details, he instructed.

Deputy Commissioner P I Sreevidya said that a survey on the loss of crops had been taken up. The officials should keep track of the information and follow up on whether any farmers are left out. Zilla Panchayat CEO K Lakshmipriya, assistant commissioner T Javaregowda, DCF Manjunath, PWD assistant executive engineer Natesh and ZP executive engineer Revannanavar were present in the meeting among others.

7. Noida traffice police to send postcards of e-challans to violators

The Noida traffic police is collaborating with National Informatics Centre (NIC) and India Post to start sending postcards of e-challans to traffic rule violators.

The move is expected to reduce expenses on postal fines and would help intimate more violators. As of now, owners of only those vehicles that have been registered after April 2017 receive text messages on the Vahan application.“There are often delays, owing to the cost involved, in sending fines via courier. The postcards will help reduce our cost and will also help us intimate more people. The postcards have been designed in a fine format and will be printed as soon as the fine is generated,” Anil Kumar Jha, superintendent of police (traffic), said.

He added that the draft format of the postcard has been sent to NIC and India Post and discussions are on to finalise it. Once it is approved, the department will try to automate the process so that postcards for all e-challans are generated as soon as the person is penalised.

Since the e-challans system was started in April this year, the traffic police has issued 5,44,177 e-challans. However, a constant problem was that violators were not intimated about being penalised. Officials said that of the total e-challans issued, fewer than 40% of the vehicle owners received text messages alerting them about the penalty. The fine is sent to violators via courier and that costs about Rs 40 per person. Switching to general post would reduce the cost to Rs 6. The postcards, however, will cost 50 paise each.

Officials said using courier services, the department would have to spend about Rs 2.16 crore for sending postal fines to 5.4 lakh violators. However, using postcards, the total cost would come down to Rs 2.70 lakh — to a mere 1% of the current cost of using courier services.

“This will be a small price that can easily accommodated in our budget. We will also be able to get corporate groups to take care of this cost under their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives for road safety and traffic management,” Jha said.

The 10th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks has passed, with many events commemorating one of the most brazen and deadly attacks on Indian soil. Ajmal Kasab, the only one of the 10 terrorists to survive the attack, was tried and executed. His testimony in court that he was from Pakistan was key to establishing the link of elements in our neighbouring country with the attack. Yet in Pakistan, the trial of the accused in the case is meandering since 2009. One of the main accused, Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed, was not arrested in this case and the other — the LeT's commander Zakir ur Rehman Lakhvi — was released on bail in 2015. e image of Ajmal

A little before the 10th anniversary, a reportfrom Uttar Pradesh (on 18 November) stating that Kasab was issued a domicile certificate in Bidhoona tehsil in Auraiya district, India, went viral in both countries. Clearly someone had played a prank, and it only exposed the ease with which once could get a certificate, no doubt for a small consideration. The sub-divisional magistrate of Bidhoona confirmed that it was based on fake documents submitted by an unidentified person. Later, the National Informatics Centre cancelled the certificate but the news made sensational headlines. It didn’t matter that Kasab was secretly hanged on 21 November 2012 and evidence was produced in the trial to confirm his origins. Some websites took the trouble to expose the facts and denounce the viral posts, but one place where the "news item" found resonance was in the weekly briefing of the Foreign Office in Islamabad on 22 November. Some reporters asked for comments based on this news. One of them construed this as new evidence that was gathered. Among the questions asked were, “Considering the surfacing of this new evidence, will Pakistan take this as proof that the Mumbai attacks were a pre-planned drama orchestrated by India?" and another: “In the matter related to Ajmal Kasab, India harmed Pakistan’s cause in the international community. Now that this new evidence has surfaced, will Pakistan counter the narrative built by India?” The spokesperson’s answer was couched in careful diplomatese but indicated the lay of the land. “Happenings such as these lend further credence to the concerns already raised by several quarters in this context.” Of course the fact that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had proposed a meeting of both Foreign Ministers at the sidelines of the UN General Assembly (which India cancelled), formed part of his official reply — as also concerns of terrorism “emanating” from India “as is evident by the confession of Commander Jadhav and other information”.

The news that Kasab was given a posthumous domicile certificate from Uttar Pradesh sounds ridiculous, yet it was exactly what some in Pakistan has been propagating — that this operation was planned in India. Lahore-based 92 News aired a story with the headline, ‘Ajmal Kasab is our citizen, admits India' on 20 November, with the anchor claiming in Hindi, “India, which blames Pakistan for terrorism, has been caught in its own lies. According to Indian media reports, proof has been found that Ajmal Kasab was in fact Indian. He is a resident of Bidhoona tehsil in Uttar Pradesh and has been issued a domicile from there too.” Indian media outlets too claimed Kasab was an Indian as he had a domicile certificate. The certificate had been cancelled a few days after it was issued. however, the story fed into a popular narrative in Pakistan that he was indeed Indian, and that India is the one which constantly creates “false flag” operations which it blames on Pakistan. Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is facing proceedings of treason in court for giving an interview to Dawn newspaper on 14 May 2018, that the 26/11 trial should be completed (among other things): “Militant organisations are active. Call them non-state actors, should we allow them to cross the border and kill 150 people in Mumbai? Explain it to me. Why can’t we complete the trial?” That is a question many people are asking, including the Indian government. Every time, there is a barrage of counter questions as was evident during the 10th anniversary of 26/11 too. The issue of examining some 20-odd witnesses who have to be sent to Pakistan for further evidence has been pending for a while and suggestions of doing this through video conferencing have not been taken forward. Chaudhary Muhammed Azhar , the prosecutor of the case in Islamabad, at one time was pretty confident of establishing the guilt of the seven accused, including Lakhvi, and he had some crucial witnesses to examine. He was very forthcoming during my posting in Islamabad in 2013 (for The Hindu) and helped me with information on the trial at great length, but later asked me not to call him as he was getting into trouble because of my reports.There is an unconscionable delay in the trial either by blaming India’s lack of cooperation or submission of evidence, when by all accounts the Pakistani Federal Investigation Agency has gathered evidence to show the role of terrorist groups and training camps in this attack. At the bottom of it all, there is little will to conclude it in a fair and transparent manner. In Mumbai, the trial was held in a high security jail with biometric identification to enter, and journalists were issued special passes and they could report on it.

बरेली, जेएनएन: नौ महीने बीतने के बाद अब नगर ननगम को टैक्स बढ़ाने की धचंता सता रही है। लोगⴂ के भलए टैक्स तो कम कर ददया लेककन टैक्स वसलू ने की व्यवस्थाएं अब तक नहीं सधु ारी गई हℂ। इस कारण अब तक काफी कम टैक्स ही जमा हो सका है। अब टैक्स पविाग के अफसरⴂ ने वसलू ी की गनत बढ़ाई है, लेककन कमाचाररयⴂ का रवैया अिी िी लापरवाही िरा ही बना है। करदाताओं को बबल गलत जारी हो रहे हℂ। उनके बबलⴂ मᴂ सधु ार िी नहीं हो पा रहे हℂ। महापौर डॉ. उमेश गौतम ने लोगⴂ से चुनाव जीतने पर टैक्स से राहत ददलाने का वादा ककया था। उन्हⴂने करीब पांच महीने पहले बोडा की बैठक मᴂ वर्ा 2007-09 की दरⴂ को दस फीसद बढ़ाकर लाग ू करा ददया। नए पवकभसत महु 쥍लⴂ मᴂ आसपास के महु 쥍लⴂ की दरᴂ ही रखी। इससे टैक्स करीब 15 से 45 फीसद तक कम हो गया। कफर लोगⴂ को 10 फीसद छू ट िी दी गई। तय समय तक काफी कम लोगⴂ ने ही टैक्स जमा ककया। संशोधधत बबल जारी नहीं होने के कारण अधधक टैक्स जमा नहीं हो पाया। एनआइसी मᴂ टैक्स की नई दरⴂ की फीडडंग नहीं होने और टैक्स िगु तान मᴂ तमाम अडचनⴂ के कारण नगर ननगम ने आगरा की एक एजᴂसी से सॉफ्टवेयर तैयार करवाया। सॉफ्टवेयर मᴂ महु 쥍लⴂ के दहसाब से टैक्स की दरⴂ को फीड ककया जा रहा था। दरᴂ फीड होने के साथ ही सॉफ्टवेयर ने काम श셂ु कर ददया है। करदाता को ऑनलाइन टैक्स जमा करने के भलए सबसे पहले कं प्यटू र या मोबाइल पर टैक्सडॉटऑनलाइनबीएनएनडॉटकॉम भलखना होगा। बरेली नगर ननगम की वेबसाइट खुलने पर पे टैक्स ऑनलाइन के पवक쥍प पर जक्लक करना होगा। वहां जोन, पपन नंबर, नाम, हाउस नंबर व पपछली रसीद नंबर डालने पर सॉफ्टवेयर टैक्स बता देगा। कफर उसे ककसी िी बℂक के डेबबट-क्रेडडट काडा और नेट बकℂ कं ग के जररए िगु तान ककया जा सकेगा। नगर ननगम की परु ानी वेबसाइट नगर ननगम बरेली डॉट कॉम पर िी जाकर ऑनलाइन टैक्स िगु तान हो जाएगा। नगर ननगम क्षेत्र मᴂ अब तक 1.21 लाख करदाता ही रजजस्टडा हℂ, जो ननयभमत 셂प से टैक्स अदा कर रहे हℂ। इसके अलावा नए सॉफ्टवेयर मᴂ करीब 23 हजार नए करदाताओं को िी जोडा गया है। इस तरह फीडडंग के बाद अब 1.44 लाख करदाता हो गए हℂ। बीते ददनⴂ शहर मᴂ हुए जीआइ सवे मᴂ 46 हजार नई संपपत्तयां भमली हℂ। इन्हᴂ िी सॉफ्टवेयर मᴂ जोडकर नगर ननगम ने टैक्स की वसलू ी श셂ु कर दी है। नगर ननगम से अधधकतम लोगⴂ को बबल जारी कर ददए गए हℂ, लेककन लोगⴂ के पास अब तक बबल नहीं पहुंचे हℂ। पवत्तीय वर्ा खत्म होने मᴂ करीब साढ़े तीन महीने ही बचे हℂ। ऐसे मᴂ जाग셂क लोगⴂ ने नगर ननगम पहुंचकर बबल जमा करना श셂ु कर ददया है, लेककन तमाम करदाताओं के पास तक बबल नहीं पहुंच पाए हℂ। ननगम से कई लोगⴂ के गलत बबल जारी हुए हℂ। उन्हᴂ संशोधधत करने के भलए करदाताओं को ननगम के चक्कर काटने पड रहे हℂ। टैक्स वसलू ी बनेगी चुनौती पपछले साल नगर ननगम ने करीब 35 करोड 셁पये टैक्स की वसलू ी की थी। इस बार टैक्स की दरⴂ मᴂ काफी कमी हो गई है। हालांकक कु छ करदाता बढ़े ज셂र हℂ, लेककन टैक्स वसलू ी का बडा लक्ष्य हाभसल करना चुनौती िरा साबबत हो सकता है। वजान टैक्स वसलू ी बढ़ाने के भलए ननदेश जारी कर ददए गए हℂ। बडे करदाताओं की सचू ी बनाकर टैक्स वसलू ककया जाएगा। करदाताओं की सपु वधा के भलए ऑनलाइन टैक्स िगु तान की व्यवस्था िी श셂ु की गई है।

To keep tabs on speeding vehicles, the commerce and transport department has decided to integrate speed limitation devices in trucks and buses with Vahan database for real-time monitoring identifying cases of violation.The decision has been taken following a direction of the ministry of road transport and highways that asks the state administration to take steps and integrate the approved speed limiting device with specific model through Vahan database. Once the integration is done, the speeding vehicles can be tracked on real time.

“The National Informatics Centre has developed a web-based system for speed governor manufacturers to upload the inventory of their product and further integrate them with Vahan. The portal is ready and available to speed governor device manufacturers,” reads the letter from the ministry.

A senior transport department official said that respective regional transport officers were intimated about the decision. “The officers will check the genuineness of speed limiting devices and take steps to upload them on Vahan database at the time of fitness check of the vehicle model,” said the official.The state government in 2016 made it mandatory for all transport vehicles to install speed governors and in 2017, the authorities listed 17 firms to procure the devices from.

However, in absence of a monitoring mechanism, vehicles, mainly private buses, violate the norms to speed on roads that lead to fatal accidents. In a recent incident, a speeding bus fell off the Mahanadi bridge in Cuttack killing nine persons.According to transport department norms, the speed limit is 60kmph for heavy vehicles including trucks and buses on the state highways. The vehicles can speed up to 80kmph on national highways. However, the buses and trucks often cross this limit on these roads.

“Buses, trucks and other heavy vehicles registered in the state have speed limitation devices. However, in the absence of a monitoring mechanism, we were finding it difficult to track them. Now that the web- based system is ready, we are hopeful to catch the violators,” said another official of the department.

According to data available with government, about 40 per cent road accidents occurred due to excess speed of vehicles in the state during 2017.

“It is important to limit the speed of the vehicles, mainly of the passenger buses, but not many are in favour of complying with it. I hope the new system will work,” said Paritosh Mishra, a night-coach bus owner.

New Delhi, Dec 7 (PTI) A secretary-level meeting of representatives of the NHRC and state-level rights panels was Friday held during which several suggestions were made for further promoting human rights, including those of under trials, officials said. The meeting was held here to explore how the state-level commissions and the National Human Rights Commission could collaborate and share the best practices.

"Several important suggestions were made during the meeting to strengthen cooperation and partnership among various commissions. One suggestion was that all custodial deaths may not be due to police torture or apathy hence these should not be generalised in the data related to custodial deaths in the National Crime Record Bureau," a senior NHRC official said.

Secretary General, NHRC, Ambuj Sharma gave an overview of the various functions of the rights panel. Neeta Verma, DG, NIC, spoke about how the concept of 'Digital India' has been put into place with the support of information technology by developing Common Services Centre portal. She also launched Human Rights Commission Network Portal, HRCnet, which aims to connect all the human rights commissions, and developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) with the support of the NHRC.

The meeting also explored the possibilities of collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, State Legal Services Authority, as well as National Legal Services Authority for organising awareness workshops on human rights and related redressal mechanism. "Governments should be asked to provide financial resources at the level of police chowki and police stations as lack of resources also become a reason for human rights violations of in custody people, who require to be provided food and other material," was another suggestion made during the meeting. "State police organisations should be requested to replicate the Kerala model of deputing woman police personnel with the victim of sexual assault till the prosecution of the accused, was another suggestion," the official said. The NHRC may support an empirical research to know the actual number of under trial prisoners and particularly those, who, due to mental problems continue to languish in jails without hearing of their matters to find out a way forward in such cases for delivering justice, he said, citing the suggestions made during the meeting.

The participants included senior officers from the NHRC, SHRCs and national as well as district and state legal services authorities, representing different states.

All gram, taluk, and zilla panchayat members in the State have now begun filing their annual statement of assets and liabilities online.After the Karnataka Panchayat Raj Act 1993 was amended and submission of a declaration on their assets and liabilities was made mandatory about three years ago, the State Election Commission (SEC) was handling more than 1 lakh documents annually submitted by the elected representatives of the panchayats.

But, the SEC with the help of National Informatics Centre (NIC) has developed a software that online declarations.

“Now, we have made online submission of their declarations mandatory. We are not accepting them physically now,” State Election Commissioner P.N. Srinivasachari told The Hindu.

Members have to just walk into their respective panchayat offices, where the operators will feed the details into the computer. While gram panchayat members have to submit the declaration to their respective Panchayat Development Officers (PDO), the taluk and zilla panchayat members have to submit the statement to their respective Executive Officers and Chief Executive Officers.

“It has become easy for the panchayat members also. All the panchayat offices are equipped with the software developed by NIC to accept the declarations,” he said.

Most of the more than 1 lakh panchayat members filed their declarations before the May-June deadline. Reminders had been issued to the defaulting members, who are estimated to be around 3,000 to 4,000, at the local level after which notices had also been served.Mr. Srinivasachari said the SEC had also come across instances of suppression of facts in the declaration submitted by a few of them. “I have disqualified one or two members already on these grounds,” he added.

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu government has begun uploading legislative documents on the New India Code web portal in consultation with the National Informatics Centre. This comes after the Delhi High Court in December last year laid down stipulations that needed to be included in the portal.

The stipulations included uploading of legislative documents-acts, rules, regulations and subordinate legislations by the State governments. The New India Code is a single official website that will host every Central law and its subsidiary Acts along with rules and procedures. It will be a database of all Central enactments that are in force and their subordinate legislations made from time to time.With the help of this system, retrieving of any Central government Act and its relevant subordinate legislations has been simplified and made user-friendly and accessible. Official sources said all the departments have been asked to submit action taken reports about uploading of legislative documents, including rules, regulations, notifications, and circulars, pertaining to the State government and relevant authorities.

It is learnt that the Chief Secretary is monitoring closely the efforts made by the State to upload all the Acts and each department has appointed a nodal officer, who will liaise with the law department library and ensure the Acts are valid and relevant to the department. Once it is validated it will be uploaded in the New India Code web portal in consultation with National Informatics Centre.

Sources said that as many as 638 relevant Acts have been identified by the State government. The initiation of New India Code portal was started when a writ petition was filed in the Delhi High Court by one Vansh Sharad Gupta in 2016 seeking online access to the Indian laws.

लखनऊ, जेएनएन। राजधानी को जाम से मजु क्त ददलाने के भलए अधधकाररयⴂ ने एक बार कफर कमर कसी है। दावा है कक ज쥍द ही हजरतगंज और इंददरागांधी प्रनतष्ठान चौराहे पर यातायात आइटीएमएस (इंटीग्रेटेड 絍ैकफक मैनेजमᴂट भसस्टम) से चलाया जाएगा। इसके बाद शहर के 103 अन्य चौराहⴂ पर िी यह व्यवस्था लाग ू होगी। शक्रु वार को आइजी यातायात ननदेशालय दीपक रत्न ने आइटीएमएस के प्रोजेक्ट हेड, एएसपी 絍ैकफक, नगर ननगम, पव饍यतु पविाग, पीडब्쥍यडू ी के अधधकाररयⴂ के साथ दोनⴂ चौराहⴂ का ननरीक्षण कर खाका तैयार ककया। इसी माह से ही दोनⴂ चौराहⴂ पर अत्याधनु नक उपकरण लगाने का काम श셂ु हो जाएगा।

एक चौराहा क्रास करते ही दसू रे पर लर्मलेगी हरी बत्ती

आइजी 絍ैकफक ने बताया कक इस व्यवस्था से शहर मᴂ सडक हादसⴂ मᴂ कमी आएगी और जाम से मजु क्त भमलेगी। ऑटोमेदटक सᴂसर यक्ु त 絍ैकफक भसग्नल लगाए जाएंगे। भसग्नल की खास बात यह होगी की इनकी टाइभमंग सडक के 絍ैकफक लोड के दहसाब से होगी, जैसे एक 셂ट पर 絍ैकफक का लोड अधधक है और वाहनⴂ की लंबी कतारᴂ लगी है। उस 셂ट पर ग्रीन भसग्नल की बत्ती देर तक चलती रहेगी। आडे नतरछे बने डडवाइडर तोडे जाएंगे। चार पदहया और बाइक का 셂ट अलग होगा।

गﴂवाहन चालक 饍वारा स्टाप लाइन क्रास करते ही, तेज वाहन चलाने पर, बबना हेलमेट, रांग साइड और अवैध पाकक मᴂ खडे वाहनⴂ का ऑटो चालान होगा। ननयम तोडऩे वालⴂ पर चौराहⴂ पर लगे कैमरⴂ की नजर होगी। यह कैमरे सीधे साफ्टवेयर से कनेक्ट हⴂगे। कैमरⴂ के 饍वारा नंबर प्लेट रीड होते ही कं絍ोल 셂म मᴂ बैठा व्यजक्त एनआइसी के डाटा से वाहन चालक का नाम और पता 絍ैक करके तत्काल चालान कर देगा। यातायात ननदेशालय के आइजी दीपक रतन ने बताया कक पहले चरण मᴂ हजरतगंज और इंददरागांधी प्रनतष्ठान चौराहे पर आइटीएमएस से 絍ैकफक चलाया जाएगा। इसके बाद राजधानी के 103 अन्य चौराहⴂ पर यह व्यवस्था लाग ू की जाएगी।

जागरण संवाददाता, फतेहाबाद : प्रदेश सरकार की महत्वाकांक्षी योजना राइट टू सपवास एक्ट को भसरे पर ले जाने की जज륍मेदारी एनआईसी के अधधकाररयⴂ पर आ गई है। अब इसके भलए एनआइसी के कायाालय मᴂ मॉननट¨रग सेल बनाया जा रहा है। जजसमᴂ बैठे कमाचारी परू े जजले मᴂ सरल पोटाल पर चल रहे काया की ननगरानी करᴂगे और ककसी िी पविाग के अधधकारी के सामने आने वाली तकनीकी समस्या को दरू करᴂगे। दरअसल, प्रदेश सरकार ने गत 14 अप्रैल से राइट टू सपवास एक्ट लाग ू करते हुए सरल वेब पोटाल की श셂ु आत की थी। इस पोटाल पर आवेदन अपलोड होने के बाद ननधााररत समय मᴂ काम करना होता है। इस पोटाल से अधधकांश पविागⴂ के आमजन के काया अब आनलाइन होते है। जो िी लोग आवेदन करते है, उनकी प्रनतददन मॉननट¨रग होती है। इसके बाद उसकी ररपोटा अधधकाररयⴂ के वाट्सएप ग्रपु मᴂ की जाती हℂ। हालांकक यह सपु वधा देने मᴂ फतेहाबाद जजला प्रदेश के टॉप टन जजलⴂ मᴂ शाभमल हℂ। टॉप थ्री जजले मᴂ शाभमल होने के भलए मॉननट¨रग सेल बनाई गई है। जजसमᴂ जूननयर प्रोग्रामर र¨वद्र धांगड व डाटा ऑपरेटर सदुं र काया करᴂगे।

कफलहाल सरल वेब पोटाल पर ननधााररत समय पर काया न करने वाले अधधकाररयⴂ जुमााना नहीं लग रहा। श셁ु आत मᴂ इसभलए नहीं लगाया था कक अधधकाररयⴂ को आनलाइन काया सीखने मᴂ समय लगेगा। अब उ楍चाधधकाररयⴂ का मानना है अब राइट टू सपवास एक्ट के तहत ननधााररत समय पर काम न करने वाले कमाचाररयⴂ पर जुमााना लगना चादहए। ऐसे मᴂ मॉननट¨रग सेल काफी हद तक अधधकाररयⴂ को ननगरानी करते हुए जुमाना े से बचाएंगी और उन्हᴂ आ रही तकनीकी समस्या का समाधान करेगी। कफलहाल पररवहन पविाग व जजला क쥍याण पविाग के अधधकारी राइट टू सपवास एक्ट के तहत काया नहीं कर रहे।

सरल वेब पोटाल पर मॉननट¨रग सेल का गठन ककया गया है। इसके भलए एनआइसी मᴂ व्यवस्था बनाने के भलए काम चल रहा है। ये सेल तकनीकी खाभमयⴂ को तरु ंत दरू करᴂगी। कई पविागⴂ मᴂ तकनीकी समस्या के चलते राइट टू सपवास एक्ट के तहत काया सही नहीं हो रहे। अब उन्हᴂ इसकी परेशानी नहीं आएगी।

Speaker Hitendra Nath Goswami on Monday said almost all functions of the Assembly would become paperless in a couple of years, which would enhance transparency, improve efficiency and reduce cost.He said the project would be implemented by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) under Union parliamentary affairs ministry’s National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) initiative.

NeVA, a Rs 744-crore project, aims to make all the legislatures of the country paperless by making the proceedings of the Houses digital. It is an attempt to provide information about the functioning of all legislatures in the the country to the citizens at the click of a button.

The iOS and Google app of NeVA, along with the NeVA website, will act as a repository of data related to the business of all legislatures in the country in a uniform manner. “It will bring legislatures closer to citizens. It is a part of Digital India initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” the Speaker said.As a prelude to implementation of the project, a two-day orientation workshop on NeVA began at the New MLA Hostel in Dispur on Monday to acquaint the legislators and Assembly employees with it. A project proposal will be submitted to the Union parliamentary affairs ministry shortly for approval and grant of funds.

“Once the project is completed, almost all functions of the Assembly will be changed to electronic mode, doing away with the decades-old practice of tabling written replies, reports, bills and documents to MLAs. The materials will be made available online in English and Assamese,” Goswami said. “Till date Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka Assemblies have started using the application,” he said. The Speaker said before the Assembly goes paperless, the rules committee will have to amend certain rules of the Assembly in order to switch over to the electronic mode. Assam finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had presented the state’s first e-budget in the Assembly in March this year. Each legislator was provided with a tablet (computer) with details of the e-budget.

CHANDIGARH: "Ayushman Bharat insurance scheme will largely benefit private players as they cannot be regulated. However, the wellness centres which aim to prevent diseases are the best part of the universal health coverage scheme," said Prof T Sundararaman, School of Health Systems Studies, TISS while speaking to the TOI. Sundararaman has been in the core committees for the drafting the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

He was a speaker at the national workshop organised at the PGIMER on Monday. The workshop is being organised by the Department of Community Medicine on 'Health Systems Strengthening' for five days. He also addressed problems with data quality, technology design, IT system design, integration and use of information in both public health and hospital settings.

Sunil Kumar, deputy director general, National Informatics Centre, New Delhi spoke on IT initiatives at national level and various projects of NIC like, online registration system, CGHS scheme, DBT (direct benefit transfer) for health sector. To streamline the process and cut short the processing time, the Vigilance Department in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Chandigarh, .

Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore launched an e-Vigilance portal at the Punjab Raj Bhawan here today in the presence of UT Adviser Parimal Rai and Secretary Vigilance BL Sharma.Vigilance clearance is required in respect of all officers/officials of the Chandigarh Administration on various occasions such as promotion, ACP, ex-India leave, deputation and retirement. The process till date has been manual, which took around 20 to 30 days. To streamline the process and cut short the processing time, the Vigilance Department in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Chandigarh, developed the e-Vigilance portal for the convenience of employees of the UT Administration.

More than 33,000 employees of the Chandigarh Administration, boards, corporations and PSUs would be benefited from the e-Vigilance portal. The time for Vigilance clearance has been cut short to maximum 2- 3 working days. Now, the departments have to apply on the e-Vigilance portal to get the clearance certificate. A provision has also been made in the portal for uploading the pending departmental inquiry proceedings, which would be mandatory for all the HODs to update. On the e-Vigilance portal, Vigilance clearance can be provided in a transparent and time-bound manner.

The Vigilance Department has been working on this portal under the guidance of the UT Adviser-cum- Chief Vigilance Officer and senior officers of the Vigilance Department.

Jitender Yadav, Secretary Sports; Harish Nayar, Special Secretary, Vigilance; Vivek Verma, SIO, NIC; and other officials of the Vigilance Department and UT Administration were also present during the launch.

New Delhi: Contemplating conclusion of criminal trials within 60 days, the Supreme Court has sought assistance of the Department of Justice (DoJ) and the National Informatics Centre (NIC) for using technology to speed up the overstretched court processes.

A bench headed by Justice SA Bobde, underscoring the critical need of expediting the never-ending trials, has harped upon extensive use of video-conferencing during the trial for dispensing the need of personal appearances of witnesses.

The court pointed out that there are several witnesses who could be conveniently examined through video-conferencing in different cases but substantial amount of time is lost in getting them physically present for examination.

Not just this, the bench said, protracted trials also defeated the purpose of Section 309(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code, which prescribes that every trial must get concluded within 60 days.

“Section provides a time limit of 60 days within which the trial is supposed to be completed. In this context, we consider it appropriate to explore the possibility of using video-conferencing for the purpose of recording evidence since it is believed that such use will eliminate the time taken for summoning the witnesses to Court,” noted the bench, also comprising Justices L Nageswara Rao and R Subhash Reddy.

However, senior advocate Sidharth Luthra submitted before the bench that the video-conferencing facility is not always available throughout the trial in various parts of the country and in the present form, this cannot be wholly relied on.

The Court then passed the order: “Since, this appears to be surmountable, we consider it appropriate to hear National Informatics Centre (NIC) and Department of Justice in the matter.”

It has now issued notices to the DoJ and the Director General of the NIC to assist the Court in resolving the issues so that technology could come to the aid of accelerating the criminal trials that involve personal liberty of citizens. The Court will hear the DoJ and the NIC on January 30.

The bench was hearing a criminal appeal by a man sentenced to death for raping and killing a minor girl. A sessions court in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa has handed out the maximum punishment in March 2013. The capital punishment was confirmed by the High Court three months later as it noted that “extreme depravity” shown by the convict satisfied the test of ‘rarest of the rare,’ warranting the death sentence. On his appeal, the top court had in January 2014 stayed the execution of the death penalty.

Over 100 government websites, including some managed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), were hacked this year, Parliament was informed Wednesday. “As per information reported to and tracked by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), 172 and 105 government websites, which includes 74 and 31 websites hosted on NICNET managed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) were hacked during the year 2017 and 2018 (up to November), respectively’’, Minister of State for Electronics and IT, S S Ahluwalia said in a written reply to Lok Sabha.

He added that in tune with the dynamic nature of IT and emerging cyber threats, continuous efforts are required to be made by owners to protect networks by way of hardening and deploying appropriate security controls.Government has taken several measures to enhance the cyber security posture and prevent cyber attacks including breaches and hacking, he further stated.

To another query, Ahluwalia said a total of three, 14 and six financial fraud incidents affecting ATMS, cards, point of sale (PoS) systems and Unified Payment Interface (UPI) have been reported during the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 (up to November), respectively, as per information reported to Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In).

Further, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has registered a total of 1,191, 1,372, 2,059 and 921 cases of fraud involving ATM/debit cards, credit cards and Internet banking frauds reported (amount involved Rs 1 lakh and above) during the year 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 (up to September 30, 2018), respectively, he said.“The CERT-IN issues alerts and advisories regarding latest cyber threats and counter measures on regular basis to ensure safe usage of digital technologies. Regarding securing digital payments, 28 advisories have been issued for users and institutions,” the minister stated.

In response to another question, Ahluwalia said a total number of 53,081 cyber security incidents (including 53 ransomware incidents) were observed during the year 2017, as per CERT-In.

After The Tribune reported on Wednesday about the alleged racket of booking appointments for registry of documents in the Sub Registrar Offices, Financial Commissioner, Revenue, MP Singh said he had asked the Project Manager, Punjab Land Records Society, to inquire into the matter and report to him in a week.The Tribune had reported that ever since the system of online appointment for the registration of documents had been started by the Punjab Revenue Department under the National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) in June, the agents were booking all slots for 90 appointments a day through fake accounts and selling these for a premium of Rs 5,000 or so to the applicants. They were later getting reverse entries made in the system to adjust these applicants. Reacting to the report, the FCR said he had asked Project Manager Sunita Thakur as to why the system had a provision for a reverse entry, which allowed the agents to manipulate changes in the fake appointment slot for a quick gain. MP Singh said, “I have told her to go into all technical loopholes in the system and report as to how many reverse entries had been made in the past six months since we got the online land registry system started.” The FCR further shared, “After Jalandhar, we have received a similar complaint from another district too. So, it is prevalent elsewhere and there are lacunae in the system for which we want the National Informatics Centre and even public in general to give us some feedback. We are even contemplating introducing a provision to have some token appointment fee so that fake entries are not made.” A further investigation into the system showed that everyone including registry clerks, deed writers and even the staff of Punjab Land Records Society was involved in the racket. The system developed by National Informatics Centre has allowed every deed writer to operate from 25 accounts a day and an individual to have up to five. This has further given everyone a full scope for seeking unlimited number of fake appointments. The entire daily collection from the applicants is made with deed writers, who then further distribute the share as per the setting to other stakeholders by the end of the day. All applicants in the tehsil come accompanied by the deed writers or their henchmen. This is to give the staff an assurance of the cut that they will get later. Even the file in this case goes unchecked. For anyone going on his own, objections are sure to come, which further implies more rounds and harassment.

“In Aadhaar column, which is mandatory for appointment, the system works even if they put in 12 zeroes. The system just checks that there are 12 digits filled. It gets changed when other particulars are also edited during reverse entry,” revealed an insider.

Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar, Varinder Kumar Sharma said, “Since the system is being handled by the staff of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), it has to be checked by them.” The NIC staff on the other hand said, “We do not have access to the system. It is fully vested with the respective Sub Registrar Officers. The systems open only with their thumb impressions so anything that happens is under their supervision.”

Agents making the most of it

SHeBox is an online initiative that allows women to file complaints of sexual harassment, which are then resolved on the WCD ministry’s watch.

New Delhi: The status of sexual harassment grievances filed with the internal complaints committee (ICC) of public and private undertakings will soon be uploaded to a common portal, SHeBox, where the public can access the data, sources have told ThePrint.To create a single database for sexual harassment complaints, it is learnt, the Union ministry of women and child development is compiling information from ICCs and local complaints committees (LCCs, or district-wise panels that oversee smaller firms with fewer than 10 employees) across the country.

This data will then be uploaded to the government’s online portal, the sources said.“The ministry is in the process of overhauling SHeBox, so as to populate the portal with details of the several ICCs and LCCs across the country,” a senior official in the ministry told ThePrint.

“It (SHeBox) will continue to be a platform for women to make complaints of sexual harassment like it is, but it will be a way of having a single database for complaints as well,” the official added. “But it (the sharing of details) will be voluntary — we won’t force ICCs to give us their data, but actively recommend it.” ‘A big task’ The government, the official said, will not upload specific complaints since divulging information about sexual harassment would be in contravention of the law, the official said.

“What we are trying to do is upload information about the number of complaints, status of complaints, feedback, constitution of ICCs, members in the ICCs, vacancies etc,” the official added.

“We want to make SheBox a stronger tool for women by ensuring they get all the information they need on it,” the WCD official said.

However, it is unclear when exactly this feature will go live. “It will be a big task, so obviously it wouldn’t happen overnight,” the ministry official added.

The constitution of the ICCs and LCCs was mandated under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act in 2013.The WCD ministry is said to be working with the National Informatics Centre to redesign SHeBox. Since its inception earlier this year, SHeBox has received 251 complaints, out of which 185 are yet be disposed of.

Each of the complaints received on the portal is forwarded by the WCD ministry to the organisation concerned for action. सीतामढ़ी। जजला मख्ु यालय डुमरा जस्थत इनडोर स्टेडडयम का कॉन्फ्रᴂस हॉल 25 हजार 셁पये प्रनत ददन के ककराए पर िी भमल सकेगा। यनू नसफे समेत अन्य सरकारी तथा गैर सरकारी संस्था प्रभशक्षण समेत पवभिन्न कायाक्रमⴂ के भलए इनडोर स्टेडडयम का कॉन्फ्रᴂस हॉल ककराए पर ले सकते है। कोई संस्था प्रभशक्षण के दौरान खानपान और स्टेशनरी आदद की व्यवस्था चाहेगा तो इसकी िी व्यवस्था की जाएगी। इसके भलए उसे िगु तान करना होगा। स्टेडडयम प्रबंधन सभमनत व्यय का िगु तान आपनू तका ता ा से प्राप्त अभिश्रव के आधार पर अपने खाता से करेगी। व्यवस्था की जज륍मेदारी जजला खेल पदाधधकारी की होगी। यह ननणाय डीएम डॉ. रणजीत कु मार ¨सह की अध्यक्षता मᴂ जजलास्तरीय स्टेडडयम प्रबंधन सभमनत की हुई बैठक मᴂ भलया गया। बैठक मᴂ सात अलग-अलग प्रस्ताव पररत ककए गए। इसके तहत स्टेडडयम प्रबंध सभमनत के जीएसटी नंबर लेने का ननणाय भलया गया। ताकक समय पर ररटना िरा जा सके। इसके अनपु ालन की जज륍मेदारी जजला खेल पदाधधकारी को दी गई। बैठक मᴂ स्टेडडयम के पजचचमी िाग मᴂ हाईवे की तरफ और दक्षक्षणी िाग मᴂ शंकर चौक की तरफ से दकु ान बनाने का ननणाय भलया गया। बताया गया कक दकु ानⴂ का बेस प्राइस 11 लाख 95 हजार 셁पये होगा। दकु ान के भलए 50 हजार 셁पये अधग्रम िगु तान कर एनआइसी के माध्यम से ब¨ु कग कराया जा सकेगा। इसके भलए स्टेडडयम प्रबंधन सभमनत एनआइसी के माध्यम से बेवसाइट बनाएगी। बी¨डग प्रकक्रया से दकु ानⴂ का आवंटन ददया जाएगा। इसके अनपु ालन की जज륍मेदारी जजला सचू ना एवं पवज्ञान पदाधधकारी को दी गई। इनडोर स्टेडडयम के मख्ु य 饍वार पर अवजस्थत िवन मᴂ कℂदटन खोला जाएगा। एक वर्ा के भलए उ楍चतम बोली लगाने वालⴂ को कℂदटन उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। बबजली के भलए कℂदटन माभलक को खुद मीटर लगाना होगा। बगैर ककसी कारण कℂदटन हटाने का अधधकार स्टेडडयम प्रबंधन सभमनत को होगा। अननयभमतता पाए जाने पर कैदटन माभलक की जमानत की राभश जब्त कर ली जाएगी। इसका अनपु ालन जजला खेल पदाधधकारी कराएंगे। बैठक मᴂ डीएम के अलावा डीडीसी, एसडीओ सदर और जजला खेल पदाधधकारी समेत कई अधधकारी मौजूद थे।

In a first for a government hospital in the country, Jipmer is all set to introduce live streaming of the counselling process of post-graduate entrance examination in a bid to enhance transparency.With the live streaming of the counselling session scheduled for Friday from 11.30 a.m., parents will be able to view the process in real time.

In a press release, Jipmer director Dr. R. P. Swaminathan said that with this move, the counselling process would become more transparent and avoid legal issues.Usually parents are not permitted in the post-graduate (DM/Mch) counselling session and they remain apprehensive about the prospects of their children. Besides, the whole process of counselling will be recorded, he said.

A link will be provided on Jipmer web site for viewing the telecast. BENGALURU: Paving the way for efficient and open governance, the () has finally decided to adopt the developed by the National Informatics Centre (). It comes with a suite of products that will allow the Palike to go paperless and will streamline workflow. The digital workplace solution is expected to bring in more while allowing the BBMP to monitor work in real time and even remotely.

Although the decision to go paperless was taken last year, the Palike had delayed the implementation of e- Office. Now, D Randeep, special commissioner (administration), has ordered the staff to strictly document files using the software.

“During the 2018 elections, many important files went missing from the BBMP office and were later found at a politician’s house. This was only possible due to the fraudulent activities in the corporation,” admitted a senior BBMP official, adding that e-Office will prevent such things in future.

Officials said it will take at least two more months for the Palike to fully implement the new software, given that most of the staff needs to be trained to operate the portal. The administrative section of BBMP, they said, has already been trained.

“When I was deputed in Vijayapura and Mysuru, most of the work was done online and I saw how that brought about transparency. I would now like to implement this in Bengaluru,” Randeep said.

ONLINE TRANSITION

Current situation: A person submits file to first division officer, who checks it and directs it to the right department. Once file is moved to the particular department, the officer examines it and takes action.

Post-implementation: Applicants need to register files or complaints on e-Office portal. A register number is then created. Citizens can easily track file status and check with the department concerned if there is any delay in processing the file.

school data-entry operator in Bengal’s North Dinajpur allegedly siphoned off Rs 5 crore by hacking into a central website and tampering with a list of minority students selected for post-matriculation scholarships.

Babul Hussain, 28, had broken into the National Informatics Centre’s site to include students who would otherwise be ineligible for the study doles.

He was arrested on Tuesday by a team that included cops from Kerala, where the fraud came to light after some beneficiaries complained that money had stopped flowing into their bank accounts.Babul is a data entry operator working on contract at a high school in Courtgach, the village in North Dinajpur’s Chopra where he lives with his family.

Police sources said Babul, a farmer’s son, enrolled mostly college students otherwise not eligible for the doles. Under the scheme, students in Classes XI and XII can get up to Rs 10,000 annually if the annual income of their family does not exceed Rs 2 lakh.“Babul helped minority students whose families earn more than the stipulated limit. He would include their names in return for payments. He had been rigging the list since October 2017,” said a source.

M.S. Jaya, director of education in Kerala, noticed the forgery after some beneficiaries there complained about stopped payments. “In some cases, Babul had deleted the names of genuine beneficiaries and included ineligible persons,” the source said. Kerala police said Babul had helped siphon off at least Rs 5 crore. On Wednesday, a local court allowed a seven-day remand for Babul to be taken to Thiruvananthapuram.

Two houses of parliament and 31 state legislatures will go completely paperless which means over 5,300 members will now use digital technologies, saving tonnes of paper and plenty of time. Ministry of Paramilitary Affairs has been working on an ambitious project called National E-Vidhan or NeVa to enable all the state legislatures and the two houses of Parliament to go completely paperless. Everything like submission of notice by a member for asking a question, its acceptance, relevant correspondence with the concerned ministry, and receipt and processing of the information will become completely paperless.“A notice is generated by a member, so the member can generate the notice online through an e-platform, same question can be sent digitally to ministries and departments for their replies, no papers need to be printed,” Parliamentary Affairs Secretary Surendra Nath Tripathi told financialexpress.com.

Parliament and state assemblies have 5,379 members who together pose nearly 2 lakh questions every year regarding the functioning of the respective governments. Also, Parliament and state assemblies together present more than 500 committee reports and deal with more than 1700 bills in a year. In addition to this, more than 10,000 papers are tabled and more than 25,000 notices are also given each year. This requires massive paper work including authentication of documents to be admitted into the respective house.National E-Vidhan project will completely remove the need for use of paper in all the business transacted by the Parliament and state assemblies.

Members will be able to submit their questions even by using their mobile phones and the reply will also be made available to them on their phones. And it will be available to other members and general public as well at the same time it is presented to the respective house. The technology used in National E-Vidhan project is platform neutral.It’s not just that the interaction of members with the respective house will be made paperless, the entire functioning of the respective houses, from receiving questions to processing of information and receiving of replies and preparation of committee reports, each and every legislative function performed by the house will be made paperless.

“The department can upload the answers, and as per the rules of the house they can be deemed to be submitted to the house. All members can see the answers without any paper being transacted,” adds Surendra Nath Tripathi, who is driving the entire national E-Vidhan project under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitous Digital India Mission.The Digital India Mission is aimed at leveraging digital technologies in every sphere of the government functioning to increase the efficiency and cut the time and cost involved in the process.Under the National E-Vidhan Project, the government will spend Rs. 740 crore on making each and every legislature in the country completely paperless, this will be shared jointly by the central government and state governments.

NeVa project has been implemented in Himachal Pradesh on pilot basis and 8-10 more states will adopt the system in next 6-8 months.The entire project and technology will be provided by central government’s National Informatics Centre (NIC).

तीन बडी बीमा कंपननयⴂ को एनआइसी पोटाल से भलंक कराया जाएगा और ककसानⴂ को कम समय मᴂ बीमा क्लेम का िगु तान ... लखनऊ, (पलु क बत्रपाठी)। मख्ु यमत्रं ी ककसान सवादहत बीमा योजना का लाि ज쥍द ही ककसानⴂ को भमल सके , इसके भलए सरकार बडा कदम उठाने जा रही है। तीन बडी बीमा कंपननयⴂ को एनआइसी पोटाल से भलंक कराया जाएगा और ककसानⴂ को कम समय मᴂ बीमा क्लेम का िगु तान कराया जाएगा।

दरअसल, सरकार की ककसान दहतकारी योजना के कक्रयान्वयन मᴂ जांच एजᴂभसयⴂ की कई बार भ्रष्ट िभू मका सामने आई थी। इसके चलते पीडड त ककसान पररवार को बीमा क्लेम की रकम हाभसल करने मᴂ काफी परेशानी उठानी पडी। ऐसे मामलⴂ को सरकार ने गंिीरता से संज्ञान मᴂ लेते हुए बीमा एजᴂभसयⴂ को एनआइसी से भलंक कराने का फैसला भलया है। अिी कफलहाल तीन सरकारी बीमा कंपननयⴂ यनु ाइटेड इंडडया इंचयोरᴂस कंपनी, ओररएंटल इंचयोरᴂस कंपनी भलभमटेड व द न्य ू इंडडया एचयोरᴂस कंपननयां शाभमल की गई हℂ।

योजना के तहत यदद ककसान की ककसी दघु टा ना मᴂ मत्ृ य ु हो जाती है तो बीमा कंपनी उसे पांच लाख 셁पये का िगु तान करती है। इस योजना के नोडल अफसर जजलाधधकारी होते हℂ। आमतौर पर पीडड त पररवार को बीमा क्लेम के िगु तान मᴂ लंबा समय लग जाता था। अब सरकार बीमा कंपननयⴂ को एनआइसी से भलंक करा बीमा क्लेम की जस्थनत की खुद ननगरानी करेगी, ताकक पीडड त पररवार को ज쥍द से ज쥍द आधथाक लाि भमल सके।

बीमा कंपननयⴂ 饍वारा ननयक्ु त स्वतंत्र जांच एजᴂभसयⴂ की लापरवाही का नतीजा पीडड त ककसान पररवार को िगु तना पडता है। जांच एजᴂसी के प्रनतननधध पीडड त पररवार पर ही िार डाल देते हℂ कक खसरा-खतौनी या कफर पोस्टमॉटाम ररपोटा िी वही महु ैया कराएं। इससे पीडड त पररवार पर दोहरी मार पडती है। जबकक सिी दस्तावेज एकत्र करने की जज륍मेदारी जांच एजᴂभसयⴂ की होती है। सरकारी बीमा एजᴂभसयⴂ के अधधकाररयⴂ का मानना है कक एनआइसी से भलंक कराने के बाद सरकार जांच एजᴂभसयⴂ 饍वारा की जा रही देरी व लापरवाही की मॉननटररंग कर सकेगी।

उपमहाप्रबंधक देवᴂद्र पंत ने बताया कक दावⴂ व उससे संबंधधत बीमा क्लेमⴂ को सरकार सीधे मॉनीटर कर सके , इस मकसद से यह कदम उठाया गया है। प्रशासननक स्तर पर लंबबत बबदं ु िी सरकार ज쥍द ही ननष्पाददत कराएगी। हमारा िी प्रयास है कक पीडड त पररवार को ज쥍द से ज쥍द बीमा राभश उपलब्ध कराई जाए।

उत्तर ददनाजपरु जजला पभु लस सपु र सभु मत कु मार ने कहा कक करीब छह ददन पहले केरल पभु लस के साइबर क्राइम ब्ांच के अननश करीम व प्रसाद एमआर नामक दो अफसर उत्तर ददनाजपरु जजले आए थे। क्राइम ब्ांच अधधकाररयⴂ ने चोपडा थाना पभु लस की मदद से मंगलवार की रात को बबलु हुसनै नामक वेबसाइट हैकर को कोटगछ गांव जस्थत उसके घर से धर दबोचा। केरल भशक्षा पविाग के ननदेशक एमएस जया नामक एक अधधकारी के भशकायत के आधार पर केरल साइबर क्राइम ब्ांच ने बबलु हुसनै के णखलाफ जांच-पडताल श셂ु ककया था।

In June, the Higher Education Department found that anonymous persons had hacked into its official website hosted by the National Informatics Centre (NIC).

The State police have tracked the furtive online attempt in May to steal scholarship meant for poor students hailing from minority communities in Kerala to a gang of hackers based in Isthanpur in West Bengal. Assistant Superintendent of Police, Kerala Police Cyber Cell, M. Iqbal told The Hindu that a team of officers from Kerala had raided a private residence in Isthanpur this week and arrested Babul Hussain, 26, amid stiff resistance from a gang of local people.

The officers produced the accused in front of a local magistrate on Thursday and procured a transfer warrant to shift him to Kerala for further investigation. The police have booked Hussain on the charges of conspiracy, impersonation, cheating and other relevant provisions of the IT Act.

In June, the Higher Education Department found that anonymous persons had hacked into its official website hosted by the National Informatics Centre (NIC).

It petitioned State Police Chief Loknath Behera for a detailed probe. Mr. Behera constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under Mr. Iqbal to investigate the case. Mr. Iqbal and his team sifted through NIC logs for digital clues. They traced the pivot of the digital invasions to an IP address in Isthanpur. The police found that the hackers had sought to slyly supplant the bank account details of at least 400 students eligible for the minority scholarship with those they had generated under false identities.

Fictitious names In some cases, they inserted fictitious names and addresses of non-existent students into the list of eligible candidates on the website.However, the police said the attempt to steal student scholarship had not panned out as planned by the conspirators.

The cyber sleuths had broken through the amateurish efforts of the hackers to conceal their IP addresses to hide the provenance of the hacking attempts.Officers said Hussain, the prime accused, worked in a temporary clerical post in a school in West Bengal. He knew about various government benefits for students and could have exploited more schemes for financial gain. The fraud was just the tip of the iceberg, and more arrests were in the offing. S. Jawahar Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) has successfully piloted a drone for carrying out basic medical services and for training its IT wing staff to graduate to larger drone applications.

Jipmer Director Dr. R.P. Swaminathan said the hospital’s IT wing recently introduced a “medical drone service” with a nano drone. During the inauguration of the programme, a test flight was demonstrated. Jipmer had placed an order for a micro drone, which, unlike nano drones, needs to be registered with the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation. Jipmer has become the country’s first government-run medical institution to start a medical drone service, he added.

The hospital’s IT wing chief Ravi Kumar Chittoria, who is in-charge of the drone services, said that medical drone applications were well established in European countries, whereas in India, it was still in the preliminary stage. As a pilot scheme, Jipmer had procured a nano drone so that it could be put into practice immediately without registration. Jipmer IT wing staff will undergo training to operate larger drones in future. Once the micro drone is acquired, Jipmer plans to use it to survey the site of accident or disaster to bring information about victims or to transport organs, blood/tissue samples or even medicines which require expensive air ambulances.

The medical drone services would be operated using internet connectivity provided by the National Knowledge Network (NKN) supplied by National Informatics Centre (NIC) Puducherry.

The Jipmer Director said the services would be offered free of cost.

It could be a defining turn in the State’s health sector when the Kerala Clinical Establishments Act (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2018, comes into force in the State on January 1, 2019, bringing all clinical establishments, private and public, under a regulatory umbrella, ensuring quality, transparency, and accountability in healthcare delivery.

The Act, passed by the State Assembly in February this year, will come into force on January 1. Henceforth, no clinical establishments in the State, under all recognised systems of medicine as well as dental centres, labs and diagnostic centres, can function without the mandatory registration, Health Minister K.K. Shylaja said here on Thursday.In the initial phase, the focus will be on registering all clinical establishments under modern medicine. The provisional registration will be valid for two years, during which time the institution should achieve the standard specific to its category.

A State council The government will soon notify the formation of the State Council for Clinical Establishments, which will classify clinical establishments and fix minimum standards for each category. Fourteen District Registration Councils, which are the implementing agencies, will be formed. The KCEA, while sticking to the core principles of the Central Act of 2010, is a far cry from the original Act which was too regulatory. The KCEA is all about bringing in accountability in healthcare delivery in a State where nearly 70% of the healthcare needs of the people are being met by the private sector, which has remained unregulated till now. Fears assuaged Dispelling fears of the private sector that the government would regulate the rates of treatment and procedures, the KCEA only insists that clinical establishments be transparent about the services provided and the rates for various procedures. These have to be displayed openly, so that people can choose between hospitals. Web portal The State council will publish a State Register of Clinical Establishments, notify information which are to be mandatorily provided by these institutions, and put it in public domain.

The National Informatics Centre, GoK, has developed the web portal for various aspects of the implementation of the Act and Rules.

Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and state legislatures will use machine learning and artificial intelligence to streamline operations and discharge their legislative obligations more efficiently. Under the phase II of National E-Vidhan project, 42 legislative bodies of the country with a combined membership of over 5,300 will use ‘cooked information’, a term for the processed information to be used in machine learning and artificial intelligence to overhaul the handling of information.

Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs have embarked on an ambitious project called NeVA (National E- Vidhan) at a cost of Rs. 740 crore to help legislative bodies to go paperless in their functioning.

“In the phase one, we are going for data processing only. In the phase two we are going to use intelligent data processing that is we will use AI and Machine Learning technologies and will make the information available in different formats and analyse, this is what we call ‘cooked information,” Parliamentary Affairs Secretary Surendra Nath Tripathi told FE Online. This could be a game changer as these houses together have over 5,300 members and 550 different standing committees of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and state assemblies, generating more than 500 reports every year. MPs and MLAs also ask nearly 2 lakh questions each year that requires extensive paper work but this voluminous information is not easy to process and use. AI and Machine Learning can study the patterns and suggest improvements on the basis of insight drawn by the system.

Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, which is the nodal ministry for its nationwide roll out, has already completed the training of staff in 11 states on the basis of insight drawn from the pilot project conducted in Himachal Pradesh. This pilot project has been extremely successful in Himachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh assembly has already amended its rules to accept questions and replies received through an e- platform. However, in the first phase which is under implementation across several states in the country, AI and Machine Learning has not been used. “When this information will be ‘cooked’ properly and becomes ‘digestible’ for use in artificial intelligence system then we will use AI,” said Mr. Tripathi, who is steering the project as the head of nodal ministry implementing the project.

National E-Vidhan System will use these cutting edge technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning only in the second phase once the roll out for the first phase is complete across the country. The government hopes to start using these technologies in the NeVA system within a year.

“We have not fixed a date for it but it can be within a year or earlier also,” clarified Mr. Tripathi as the technology and devise neutral platform developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) is ready to be used by all the state legislatures but it is yet to be implemented by some 20 states in the country.

KA Sengotttaiyan, state school education minister, admitted that Rs 20 crore amount sanctioned remained unused and promised better performance in the coming years.other states like Rajasthan since there were not enough centres set up here. Strict checking which also led to stripping in few cases took toll on mental health of few examinees. Of the 1.2 lakh candidates, around 60 per cent were unable to clear the entrance, according to official data. However, around 1,300 government school students who cleared the test were unable to obtain the necessary cutoff. With government showing no intent in clearing the bill which seeks a permanent exemption of NEET, private coaching centres have started to mushroom, collecting fees Rs 20,000-Rs 2,00,000 for a year. Some are also travelling to other states for coaching. Revised syllabus cheers up students After a gap of nearly 12 years, Tamil Nadu government revised school curriculum. The new textbooks, written based on the revised syllabus for state board students, have received a positive response from almost all the stakeholders. Besides enriching the content, value additions like Quick Response (QR) codes for reading reference materials, Information & Communication Technology (ICT) corners and career guidance sections have made the new textbooks better than the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT), said an official from the school education department.“The book is filled with worked-out examples, colourful illustrations and quick pointers which will help the students understand the concepts better and perform well in not only board exams but also competitive exams like NEET and IIT-JEE,” he said. Only one bus for Chennaiites Chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy launched a total of 986 government buses this year — 515 in July and 471 in October. However, despite the Corporation’s proposal to replace 245 buses on an urgent basis, the city got just one new bus. According to official records, nearly 250 old MTC buses were declared unfit for operation. Also, more than 70 per cent of the 3,300 buses are being operated beyond the permissible six lakh kilometres.M Chandran, vice president, Centre of Indian Trade Union (CITU) said a bus must ideally run for seven years. But, MTC buses have been running for more than 15 years. While the year started with the government announcing a steep hike in government and private bus fares ranging from 20 per cent to 55 per cent in January, the failure to replace rickety buses has proved in further losses to MTC, with a major chunk of commuters shifting to suburban trains for travel. When contacted, an official from MTC said that at least 50 new buses will be allocated to Chennai next year. Police reviewed that it is a major hit. “From May 10 to December 27, a total of 13,92,442 cases have been registered and fine worth Rs15,44,69,930 has been collected,” said a senior official from the traffic department. As per the new system, besides swiping cards at point of sale machines already available with traffic police, those served with e-challans can make payments online.The fine can also be paid through Paytm using QR Code. Metro yet to become the first choice Two underground metro rail stretches, Nehru Park to Central and Saidapet to AGDMS were inaugurated after nearly six years of construction in May, this year. While projects worth Rs 26 crore are being implemented on the ground, projects worth Rs 336 crore are in various stages of implementation. Creating more job opportunities is essential for future development of the State, Minister for Local Self- Governments A.C. Moideen said. He was addressing the valedictory of VAIGA (Value Addition for Income Generation in Agriculture) at Thekkinkadu maidan here on Sunday.

“As it is difficult to provide jobs for all in the public sector, we need to encourage entrepreneurship in various sectors for creating opportunities. The governed will do essential interventions for this. We need to develop more entrepreneurship in farm sector for the development of the State. Agriculture has a major role in post-flood reconstruction of Kerala,” he said.

He said the LDF government had given a new lease of life to the agriculture sector. The government has been actively intervening in various fields such as effective utilisation of land and water, mechanisation in farm sector, procurement of produces and increasing revenue of farmers. Coordination of various government departments is important for development of the farm sector, the Minister said.

Highlighting the involvement of Kudumbasree Mission and the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme workers in enhancing agriculture production, the Minister said more than 50% of Kudumbashree Neighbourhood groups are involved in farming.

He said VAIGA can play a key role in rejuvenating the farm sector. The new ideas evolved from VAIGA can lead to more innovative experiments, he added. Agriculture Minister V.S. Sunil Kumar presided.

Minister for Animal Husbandry K. Raju inaugurated a website of the Agriculture Department prepared by C-DIT and new software developed by the NIC (National Informatics Centre).

जासं, आजमगढ़ : दशमोत्तर (कक्षा 11 व 12) की छात्रवपृ त्त व श쥍ु क प्रनतपनू त ा के भलए आवेदन करने वाले छात्र- छात्राओं के भलए खुशखबरी है। 24,782 आवेदकⴂ का डाटा सस्पेक्टेड मᴂ आ गया था। इसकी वजह से उनका छात्रवपृ त्त से वंधचत होना लगिग तय माना जा रहा था, लेककन शासन ने सस्पेक्टेड डाटा संशोधधत करने की नतधथ बढ़ाकर नौ जनवरी कर दी है। आवेदन करने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं को अपना डाटा ऑनलाइन ठीक करने का मौका है। इससे छात्रवपृ त्त व श쥍ु क प्रनतपनू त ा का रास्ता साफ हो जाएगा। 10 से 17 जनवरी तक संस्थाओं 饍वारा संशोधधत डाटा को लॉक ककया जाएगा। 16 से 20 जनवरी तक जनपदस्तरीय पविागीय अधधकारी के डडजजटल भसग्नेचर से लॉक डाटा के आधार पर एनआइसी की रा煍य इकाई से मांग सजृ जत की जाएगी। 14 जनवरी को जनपदस्तरीय पविागीय 3280 छात्रⴂ के डाटा सस्पेक्टेड मᴂ आ गए हℂ।

अधधकारी के डडजजटल भसग्नेचर मᴂ लॉक डाटा के आधार पर एनआइसी की रा煍य इकाई से मांग सजृ जत की जाएगी। इसके बाद सीधे इनका डाटा शासन को िेजा जाएगा। इसके बाद अब सीधे बℂक खातⴂ मᴂ छात्र-छात्राओं की छात्रवपृ त्त िेजी जाएगी। 26 जनवरी से छात्रवपृ त्त का पवतरण श셂ु कर ददया जाएगा। कक्षा 11 व 12 की प्रथम ककचत के 셂प मᴂ कु ल 1,24,232 आवेदकⴂ ने आवेदन ककया था। इसमᴂ कक्षा 11 के अनसु धू चत जानत के 7262, अनसु धू चत जनजानत के 34,540, सामान्य के 188 आवेदकⴂ ने आवेदन ककया था। इसमᴂ 3280 छात्रⴂ का डाटा सस्पेक्टेड आया था। कक्षा बारह के सामान्य वगा के 24928, अनसु धू चत जानत के 56,826 व अनसु धू चत जनजानत के कु ल 488 छात्रⴂ ने आवेदन ककया था। इसमᴂ 21,502 आवेदन सस्पेक्टेड की श्रेणी मᴂ थे। इस प्रकार कु ल 24,782 आवेदकⴂ का डाटा सस्पेक्टेड था। इसे ठीक करने के भलए शासन ने नतधथ बढ़ा दी है। 1,24,232 कु ल आवेदक 32,190 सामान्य जानत के 91,366 अनसु धू चत जानत के 676 अनसु धू चत जनजानत के 24,782 सस्पेक्टेड आवेदक ''जजन छात्र-छात्राओं के डाटा सस्पेक्टेड ददखा रहा है। वह तत्काल ऑनलाइन त्रदु ट ठीक कर लᴂ, ताकक समय से उनका आवेदन डडजजटल लॉक कर शासन को िेजा जा सके। इसके बाद कोई मौका नहीं ददया जाएगा। डाटा िेजे जाने के बाद संबंधधत छात्रⴂ के खाते मᴂ धनराभश पहुंच जाएगी।''
