More than 430 names were called to walk across the Pensacola Bay Center stage to receive diplomas during Commencement Ceremonies Saturday. The Class of 2018, who earned more than $9 million in scholarship monies (see Page 7C), is the 48th in school history. GBHS was the fi rst of three ceremonies on Saturday, with Pace and Navarre following. Brandon Klisart was the fi rst of fi ve seniors to speak. He was followed by valedictorian Milly Ladner and salutatorian Blake Barclay. A musical presentation from Macy Mateer was followed by the awarding of diplomas. Michael Palermo gave some closing remarks before the singing of the alma mater.
