    Interpretive Article High-Speed Track Inspection Technologies Shigeaki Ono*, Akio Numakura** and Tatsuo Odaka* *Technical Center, Research and Development Center of JR East Group **Aomori Maintenance Technology Center (Former Technical Center) "Doctor Yellow" has long been used as an electric and track inspection train of Shinkansen. The maximum speed was 210 km per hour according to the running performance of the three track inspection cars. In the synthesis inspection car, dynamic status of the track, contact wire and others while running are identified correctly, so it is hoped that running performance is as close as possible to the operating conditions of the passenger car. Accordingly, using the high speed test train STAR21 and train E3 for KOMACHI, we started to develop a two-bogie type track inspection train that was the same as ordinary cars, and could get inspection performance and running performance on the practical level. We succeeded in introducing an inspection train capable of running at 275 km per hour, the same speed as "HAYATE" and "KOMACHI" in 2002. This paper introduces the development of a new two-bogie inspection device mounted on the "East-i". 1 Introduction - When the speed of the inspection train alone remains low, train scheduling is inconvenienced. Railway Facilities 4.1 Civil Structures (Railway, Stations) 4.1.1 Railway This includes basic conditions related to the civil structures such as topographical, geological and soil, seismic, intersections such as existing railway lines, roads, rivers, construction, as well as surrounding environmental conditions. In addition, economic efficiency, workability, construction time, operation and maintenance after the commencement of operations shall be considered. In particular, economic efficiency will be well considered when selecting the civil structures for the HSR system in Vietnam. The HSR civil structures include earthworks such as embankments and cuts, viaducts, bridges, box culverts, tunnels and station structures. In order to minimize construction costs, for the most part, earth structures are selected in open sections. Viaducts are applied to the areas where earth structure does not much the surrounding environment with high population density, many buildings, roads, and railways. Viaducts are also applied to the areas where the residual settlement of the embankment is expected to be largely due to the weak ground. The points to note for each structure type are shown below. (1) Earthwork (Embankments and Cuts) Various aspects, such as collapsing caused by settlement and rainfall, mud-pumping and maintenance, etc., have to be considered when designing and constructing earth structures. In recent years in Japan, new materials and new construction methods such as layer thickness adjustment materials, reinforcement materials, drainage blankets, slope protection work, and roadbed reinforcement are developed. In addition, the performance-based design methods have made it possible to construct earthworks with the same durability, safety, usability, and recoverability characteristics as concrete structures.

    CENTRAL JAPAN RAILWAY COMPANY Annual Report 2010 For the Year Ended March 31, 2010 Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central, also known as JR Tokai) commenced operations in April 1987 upon the privatization and breakup of the Japanese National Railways (JNR). The core of JR Central’s operations is the Tokaido Shinkansen, the main transportation artery linking Japan’s principal metropolitan areas of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. The Company also operates a network of conventional lines centered on the Nagoya and Shizuoka areas. JR Central and its consolidated subsidiaries are strengthening affiliated businesses by making full use of the Company’s stations and trains. Sažetak Infrastrukturne značajke mreže pruga velikih brzina u Japanu U radu je ukratko opisan povijesni razvoj željeznica velikih brzina u svijetu, a opširnije u Japanu. Navedene su i objašnjene općenite infrastrukturne značajke željeznica velikih brzina, a posebno su objašnjeni kolosijeci te kolosiječni pričvrsni pribor koji se koristi u Japanu. Opisan je kolodvor u Tokyu i podvodni tunel Seikan koji povezuje otoke Honshu i Hokkaido. Opisani su vlakovi koji prometuju Shinkansen linijama i čine vozni park željeznica velikih brzina u Japanu. Ključne riječi: željeznice velikih brzina, Shinkansen vlakovi, željeznička infrastruktura Summary Infrastructure characteristics of the high speed rail network in Japan The paper briefly describes the historical development of high speed railways in the world, more specifically in Japan. The general infrastructure features of high-speed rail are mentioned and explained, particularly the track and rail fastening accessories used in Japan. It describes the railway station in Tokyo and the Seikan underwater tunnel connecting the islands of Honshu and Hokkaido. The
