2014 Corvette Caravan: Although a little more than a year and away, 20th Anniversary Celebration AND the National Corvette Caravan registration is now live. For the first time the process has been simplified to a single registration. http://www.corvettemuseum.org/registration/celebration/20info.shtml The 5th National Corvette Caravan will take place the last week of August, 2014. The NW Regional caravan has formed and will join other caravans as they travel across the United States to gather in Bowling Green, Kentucky for four days of festivities at the National Corvette Museum. Corvette of the Month By Dave VanAsten (Callaway 2011 Grand Sport)

The Callaway conversion is centered around a roots-style supercharger by Eaton, but entails many air and fuel

system components upgraded to support it. The end result is a 606 BHP/553 LB-FT torque engine. This Month's Club Charity Information and Notices Central Kitsap Food Bank Serving Local Families in Need The Central Kitsap Food Bank began as a church pantry in Tracyton, WA in 1989. Moving to its current location next to Central Kitsap High School in Silverdale in 1992, they became a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. They serve those who live or work in the Central Kitsap School District. Their mission statement: "We provide food at no cost in a caring and respectful manner to people in need in our community while preserving the dignity of those we serve." They are a local, independent food bank and partner with seven local food banks and several hot meal programs to maximize the generous donations from the community. In 2011, they served 701,401 pounds of food to 28,619 individuals in 8,651 households. 190 volunteers donated 9,695 hours to help. They are the lead agency for the federal Commodities Supplemental Food Program; as such, they served and/or deliver 30+ pounds of additional food to 600-650 low-income seniors and children each month. Did Ya Know: Priced Reduced To $11,900 2004 Le Mans Commemorative Edition A 24 Hours of Le Mans Commemorative Edition package was offered as an option for all three C5 models in celebration of the C5-R "1–2" in-class finishes at Le Mans. The package consisted of a special paint color ("Le Mans Blue Metallic"); shale two-tone leather interior (coupés and convertibles only); and wide, silver-and-red stripes optionally applied down the center of the car (Z06 only). The Z06 version received a carbon fiber hood as a weight-reduction measure. 2025 Z06 LeMans editions were built.
