ORDER MADE BY THE GOVERNOR UNDER DEFENCE REGULATION 64. Whereas by Order dated the 22nd , 1956, and published as Public Instrument No. 824 of 1956 hereinafter referred to as " the Order ", the Governor authorised the use of the land and property specified in the Order subject to the restrictions and conditions therein contained for military purposes during the period of six months commencing the 22nd August, 1956 ; And whereas by virtue of Public Instruments Nos. 74 of 1957, 748 of 1957, 64 of 1958, 995 of 1958 and 101 of 1959, the Order was extended for further periods of six months up to the 21st August, 1959 ; And whereas the Governor is satisfied that the land and property should continue to be used for military purposes for a further period of six months : Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Defence Regulation 64 as set out in the First Schedule to the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers) (Cyprus) Order, 1946, which continues in force by virtue of the provisions of the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers) (Continuation) Laws, 1958 and 1959, His Excellency the Governor has authorised the use of the land and property specified in the Orders and subject to the restrictions and conditions therein contained for a further period of five months commencing the 22nd August, 1959.
