Each test is to be taken for the first time in the spring of
the year the course is taken. 3 Graduation Points
For each of the seven required exams, a student can earn 1-5 Graduation Points.
4 Graduation Points

5 Graduation Points
A student must earn at least 4 points on English tests.
English 9 score + English 10 score

A student must earn at least 4 points on math tests.

A student must earn at least 6 points on science and social studies tests.

A student must earn at least 18 total points to meet Ohio AIR state testing requirements

Note that it takes MORE than the minimum points needed in each category to reach 18 total points:
4 required English + 4 required math + 6 required science and social studies

Meets graduation requirements! 13 Graduation Points
This system gives students flexibility in accumulating points.
A high score on one test can help balance out a low score on another test.
Students may retake tests.
14 Retakes
● Students may retake a test if they have scored a 1 or a 2 or have not reached the 18 points needed for graduation
● Students must participate in free tutoring provided by our school, in order to retake a test.
