Every VN who went got something out of going and would recommend attending to other students. Important points students wanted to share included; many changes are coming with the new healthcare legislation and nurses are going to be utilized extensively. Continue your education as far as you can! The DON (Doctorate of Nursing) is giving nurses more voice, however there are many nursing specialties to consider getting your Masters in (informatics, anesthesiology, geriatrics, education etc). There was some talk about the meek employment opportunity right now as new grads; any extracurricular work will look great in your portfolio/resume (SNO, volunteering, etc). There is an opportunity for VN students to volunteer with local missions (check into the various missions online in your area). Keep track of everything you do in school and clinical (copies of clinical evaluations from instructors, skills achieved, SLOs, names of nurses you worked with, etc). Networking is one of the best ways to get you started along the road to your career goals. The Dean of UCLA nursing was the opening speaker and it was great to hear of the strong presence of male nurses nationally. One thing he stated that stuck with us was, “Always being on top of your game.” Besides all that, the convention had many representatives in the vendor area, which provided information about different programs to help us pass the boards.

I just wanted to share a couple items from the Executive Council, Coordinators & Chairs. Register now for the PTAC Training at kacrao.org! KACRAO and KBOR are partnering with The U.S. Department of Education’s Privacy Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) to provide a free training event! KACRAO’s training day will be held on April 25, 2019 at Butler Community College. Discussion will include the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA), student privacy issues and student data security. I am looking forward to seeing those of you attending the AACRAO Annual Meeting. The KACRAO Reception will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at 6:30 p.m. at Lucky Strike, LA Live for those able to join us. Our next Executive Council Meeting will be held on Monday, April 15th from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on the campus of Barton Community College. All members are welcome to attend!     “It’s All in My Head.” The Top 300 Comedy Films of All-Time (in my opinion) my (in Esma relda Villa Lobos An Introduction Although the following is what I hope to be a comprehensive study guide on, in my opinion, the greatest comedy films of all time, if you happen to disagree with any of my critiques or choices throughout the course of reading this novel, please rest assured that this is by no means the last of these collections that I will assemble throughout my life and career. What started out as a list of ten became a list of twenty, twenty became fifty, fifty became one fifty, two hundred, two fifty and then finally three hundred. The pages are organized in descending order because what is the fun in giving away the best part fresh out the gate? I must admit that my final choices are altogether unsurprising, but frankly there is just no argument when it comes to the best of the best. I am certain your jaw will drop to the ground when you see some of the films that I have omitted (hint: you won’t find “Princess Bride” anywhere on this list) and I am also certain others will have you scratching your head and wondering “what?!” There are plenty of films on here that were bashed by “day-to-day” critics upon the time of their release, but since I am a “bigger picture” type of analyst, I find that these films, over time, show their worth and merit. If at any point in time you find yourself wondering, “how can I watch some of these films?” Well, if they aren’t available on Netflix, nine times out of ten you can rent them on Vudu for $2.99-$3.99 apiece.
