Russia The SO/ will open in Moscow

The hotel management agreement is expected to be signed between international hotel operator AccorHotels and the Turkish company Ant Development regarding the hotel located within “Poklonnaya,9” complexin Moscow. This will be the first luxury hotel of the SO/ brand in Moscow. According to preliminary data the hotel will have 150 rooms. Peter I hotel in Moscow can be put on auction

The half of Peter I hotel located at 17 bld.1, Neglinnaya Street, Moscow can be put on auction due to the bank debt of the hotel owner. According to the data provided in the documents of the Moscow Arbitration Court, the value of the 50% of Peter I hotel was estimated at RUB 625 m (U$ 9.5 m). The infrastructure of the hotel for 133 rooms includes a , a lobby-bar, conference space, a fitness center and a beauty salon. A combo-hotel by AccorHotels will open in St. Petersburg

A combo-hotel by AccorHotels will open in St. Petersburg, combining brand (253 rooms) and Adagio Access brand (479 rooms). The hotel will be located on Pulkovskoe highway and will be the largest hotel in the AccorHotels’ portfolio in Russia. The infrastructure of the complex will also include a swimming pool, a fitness center, a restaurant with 170 seats, three Sky Lounge spaces for crews of European, Korean and Chinese airlines, a congress center and underground parking, The combo-hotel is planned to be commissioned in 2021. AMAKS Orbita hotel will open on the Black Sea coast

The Russian hotel chain AMAKS & Resorts is planning to open AMAKS Orbita hotel for 367 rooms in summer 2020. The midscale hotel is located at Olginka village, 30 km from Tuapse city on the first line of the Black Sea. On the territory of the new year-round resort complex there will be a forest park zone, a private beach, an indoor water entertainment center, an outdoor water park, a medical complex, a sports complex and business spaces for different events. Kempinski Grand Hotel in Gelendzhik sold out

The Kempinski Grand Hotel located in Gelendzhik has been sold out for a reported price of RUB 1.1 bn (U$ 16 m) to an investment vehicle controlled by real estate developer Prokhor Pozolotin. The transaction took place as a share sale, with the acquired company Investgroup CJSC currently being controlled by VEB.RF. Acquired Investgroup CJSC owns the four companies including the hotel’s owner. The Kempinski Grand Hotel is located on the Black Sea coast, sits on an 8-hectare plot and includes extensive spa facilities, a conference centre and three .

A new hotel will open in the bay Lazurnaya in Vladivostok

On the territory of the bay Lazurnaya in Vladivostok it is planned to build a midscale hotel for 49 rooms. The infrastructure of the complex will include a conference zone and a guarded parking. It’s expected that the hotel will be designed for year- round stay. The owner of the object is the "Lazur" company. Kazakhstan The hotel opened in Aktobe

The hotel for 199 rooms under Ibis brand of AccorHotels opened in the center of culture and business part of Aktobe. The infrastructure of the complex also includes a restaurant, a bar, a conference-center for 30 people. Cosmos Hotel Group plans to buy hotels

Cosmos Hotel Group management company plans to expand its portfolio by acquiring hotels from other owners. Hotels that could not cope with the negative impact of the COVID-19 epidemic are considered for the acquisition. The company considers to acquire either individual hotels or hotel chains which are not within the core business strategy of their owners. Key decision factors to buy a hotel are location, an object’s compliance with the Cosmos Hotel Group network development concept and the condition of the hotel rooms. Cosmos Hotel Group is interested to widen its presence in the largest economic regions of Russia and perspective million-plus cities.
