Daily Dollar Questions 2016 Level 4

For Year 7, and Year 8 students. Curriculum level 4.

What to do. For students.

1. You may work in pairs or on your own and your teacher or parent can help you.

2. Do the questions.

3. If you are right you will get the dollar value for each question.

4. There are usually 5 questions each day.

5. Each day’s questions total $300 in value.

5. Your teacher will tell you the answers and then you can work out how many dollars you have earned for the day.

6. Add the dollars you have earned each day in the Daily Dollar Questions and get a total which you can compare at the end of the week with others in your class.

7. Perhaps your teacher may award a prize for the highest totals for the week!

Daily Dollar Questions Level 4.

Hamish Bond and Eric Murray are without doubt ’s most successful team. They have won 7 World titles and 1 Olympic title in their event, the coxless pairs. Not only have they won but they have won in style with great sportsmanship towards their rivals.

Both won “Team of the Year” at the N.Z. Halberg Sports Awards in 2009, 2012, 2014. They won the Supreme Team of the year in 2012, and 2014. At the last , Bond and Murray won their event by several boat-lengths. Their time in the heats was a World Record by 6 seconds.

In 2013 Hamish and Eric were awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit in the New Year Honours. It was well deserved, not only for prowess at rowing but also for being super sportsmen. Hamish and Eric are in the New Zealand Olympic Team for this year’s games in Rio. Their form this year will make them difficult to beat.
