In the light of covid restrictions being relaxed by our state and CDC, the parish council deliberated its practical applications for our parish. Our parish strongly encourages all who attend mass to con- tinue to wear the mask for the foreseeable future. This is recommended to ensure one's own safety and that of others especially those vulnerable. Having stated this we also recognize that there are some among us who find it difficult to wear a mask due to medical conditions. Such members may excuse themselves from wearing a mask. The underlying principle is that each one of us do all we can to ensure our own safety as well as the safety of our sisters and brothers. Our state, country or world is not out of the woods until the spread of the virus is over worldwide or herd immunity is achieved.
