Helen has asked for thanks to be passed on to all those who sponsored her or who welcomed other Riders and Striders to our church. Having written about the concert on December 1st, I hardly dare mention this but there’s another date for December that you might like to take note of. It’s about our Carol Service (yes, I know, it’s only October and you don’t want to think about Christmas yet.) This year the Carol Service will be on Saturday, December 15th. So, if you’re making plans leading up to Christmas, please build them round this very popular St Andrew’s service. (While writing this last paragraph, a charity I support has just emailed me offering an early-bird discount on their Christmas Cards, so maybe it’s not ridiculously early after all.)
