Alison has a project in mind for us to enhance the RSPCA wildlife hospital site. This will be agreed before we arrive! (I hope). Leader: Alison April 8th Gaywood Explore our river banks! Start at Beulah Street, along the Gaywood River towards Loke Road and see River what plants/wildflowers are coming along the NCC River Walk. On to The Walks and paths back to Lynnsport Leader: Sue April Titchwell Get your bins for the A visit to Titchwell RSPB reserve. Plenty to see at this renown birdwatching site 15th birds! on the North Norfolk Coast. Plenty of walking & hides to watch the water birds on the lagoons. Meet with our friends from the Bure Valley Group for a 2 hour tour of the woods With BVCG with warden, Steve Collins. Flower Walk Leader: Sue M. Gaywood Valley Conservation Group Activities in 2019 Sessions meet at 9.30am for strict 10.00am start on site and last until around 1pm on site unless stated. If you need to arrive later or leave earlier please let the leader know. (07944 953397) You do NOT have to be physically fit to take part, please only do what you feel able to. Most sessions include the chance to learn a bit more about wildlife, as well as trying some practical conservation work if you wish. You don’t need to book (unless otherwise stated) but you may find it helpful to contact us before coming on a project for the first time. If we are visiting another site away from the meeting point, we will car share if it is too far to walk. If you want to join us on site instead of at the meeting point, please let us know, we can provide directions if needed. We will provide light refreshments, usually something like tea and biscuits. If a site does have toilets this is indicated on the previous page. Most sites we work at unfortunately don’t. Please wear old working clothes, suitable for the weather. If you have them, bring reasonably sturdy shoes or boots, and rainwear. We will bring any tools and personal protective equipment (such as gloves, goggles or hard hats) if they are needed for a task. Please check if your tetanus inoculation is up to date. On some locations we work, Sheep Tics may be present, to limit contact, long trousers and sleeves should be worn.
