Both tours depart from the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center at 8:15 a.m. and return by 2 p.m.
Mount Rushmore and 1880 Train You will have an opportunity to visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial, walk the Presidential Trail, visit the sculptor’s studio, the Lincoln Borglum Visitor Center, and watch a 14-minute video about the mountain. Your adventure will continue as you head to the quaint little town of Keystone to board the 1880 Train. Experience a historic and relaxing vintage steam train ride through the beautiful Black Hills. Upon arrival in Hill City, you will enjoy a sack lunch at a local park. Tour price includes transportation, local narrative, 1880 Train tickets, sack lunch, parking at Mount Rushmore, and driver gratuity. Cost is $60.00 per person.
Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park Enjoy beautiful views of Crazy Horse Memorial, visit the museum, see work by local artisans, and learn about the Native American culture. Your journey continues with a drive through Custer State Park and the breathtaking views via the famous Needles Highway, which was completed in 1922. Experience sharp turns, impressive granite spires, and wonderful low tunnels through the mountain! Visit the State Game Lodge for lunch and maybe spot a buffalo or two. Tour price includes transportation, local narrative, Crazy Horse Memorial entrance fees, lunch, and driver gratuity. Cost is $60.00 per person
