The purpose of The Sand & Sea Knitting Guild is essentially the same as that of the national organization, The Knitting Guild Association, which is to provide education and communication to advance the quality of workmanship and creativity in knitting endeavors.

DUES: The Sand & Sea Knitting Guild membership dues are $30.00 per year, payable October 1 for the fiscal year October 1 to September 30.

MEETINGS: A general meeting is held on the second Saturday of each month at the St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 11555 National Blvd., Los Angeles, CA from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. A "Skill & Technique Session" comes before the general meeting from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m.

ACTIVITIES: In addition to the regular monthly meetings, The Sand & Sea Knitting Guild conducts knitting workshops for its members. Our local philanthropic projects and supported charities may be found on our website under Philanthropy.
