Submission of Renewal Applications for Broadcasting Licences of Radio Stations Expiring 31 August 2020
Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2019-194 PDF version Ottawa, 3 June 2019 Public record: 1011-NOC2019-0194 Call for licence renewal applications Submission of renewal applications for broadcasting licences of radio stations expiring 31 August 2020 1. The Commission requests that the licensees listed in the appendix to this notice submit renewal applications for their broadcasting licences expiring 31 August 2020. The licensees must submit their renewal applications by no later than 31 August 2019. 2. Licensees who do not wish to renew their licences beyond the expiry date indicated in this notice must advise the Commission in writing by no later than 31 August 2019. 3. This call for applications is consistent with the procedures announced in New procedures for licence renewal applications, Broadcasting Information Bulletin CRTC 2015-116, 31 March 2015 (Broadcasting Information Bulletin 2015-116). 4. The Commission will process the licence renewal applications under the rules for applications set out in Part 1 of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure. However, where the Commission deems appropriate, the renewal applications may be published in a notice of consultation. 5. Interested persons will be given the opportunity to comment on the renewal applications once they are posted on the Commission’s website. Procedure for filing 6. Licensees must file their renewal applications electronically by completing the Broadcasting Online Form and Cover Page using the secured service My CRTC Account (Partner Log In or GCKey Log In). Estudio de Diagnóstico del Servicio de Televisión y Audio Restringidos en México Unidad de Competencia Económica Dirección General de Consulta Económica Diciembre de 2020 Aviso legal El Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones es la autoridad de competencia económica y el regulador con facultades exclusivas en los sectores de telecomunicaciones y radiodifusión, de conformidad con lo dispuesto en los artículos 28 párrafos décimo cuarto, décimo quinto y décimo sexto de la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos; 5 párrafo primero de la Ley Federal de Competencia Económica; y 7 de la Ley Federal de Telecomunicaciones y Radiodifusión. En estos sectores, el Instituto tiene por objeto regular y promover la competencia y el desarrollo eficiente de los mercados. Este estudio se publica con el objeto de ofrecer información detallada y analizada para que el público en general pueda tener una visión más clara sobre la evolución reciente y el estado actual de las condiciones económicas en la provisión del servicio de televisión y audio restringidos en México; su realización estuvo a cargo de la Unidad de Competencia Económica a través de la Dirección General de Consulta Económica, con fundamento en los artículos 20, fracción XVII, y 47, fracción IX, del Estatuto Orgánico del Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones. El contenido de este documento no refleja la opinión ni es vinculante para el Pleno del Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones. El análisis que se presenta a lo largo de este documento, así como sus resultados y conclusiones, no prejuzgan sobre: i) resultados y conclusiones de procedimientos que pudiera llevar a cabo el Instituto, en los que se analicen casos particulares, y ii) el ejercicio de las demás facultades que corresponden al Instituto como autoridad reguladora y de competencia económica en los sectores de telecomunicaciones y radiodifusión. -
