Statement of Community Involvement
Adoption Statement
Notice is hereby given that the Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) was adopted by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council on 22 March 2018.
The purpose of the SCI is to set out who the council will engage with in the preparation of its planning policy documents and how and when they will be engaged. The SCI also includes how the council will consult on planning applications. Its aim is to encourage community and stakeholder involvement and set out clear expectations of the council.
Any person with sufficient interest in the decision to adopt the SCI may make an application to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of the decision. Any such application must be made promptly in any event no later than 6 weeks after the date on which the SCI was adopted.
