The census returns contain the name and denomination of each place of worship, the date of consecration or erection, the space available for public worship, total attendance on 30th March 1851 and the average attendances in the previous year. The returns for Worcestershire are arranged by registration districts and are available to view on microfilm and are located in the Self-Service Area of The Hive. The originals are held at National Archives Kew reference HO129/383-393. How to use the handlist This handlist is divided into three sections. Section 1 is a guide to the contents of the microfilm of the 1851 ecclesiastical census and indicates the running order of the film. In section 2 the information given in section 1 has been rearranged by religious denomination. In section 3 the information given in section 1 has been rearranged alphabetically by place name. Finding the entry on the microfilm The microfilm is arranged by registration district and the reference numbers in this handlist relate to the page numbers on the microfilm. To locate the required entry on the microfilm first make a note of the relevant reference number from this handlist and then wind the microfilm to the required number. Home Choice Plus has been developed by a number of Local Authorities and Housing Associations working in partnership. Home Choice Plus is a way of allocating housing and advertising other housing options across the participating Local Authority areas. (Home Choice Plus will also be used for advertising other housing options such as private rents and intermediate rents). This booklet explains how to look for housing across all of the Districts involved in this scheme. Please see website for further information. Who is eligible to join the Home Choice Plus register? • Some people travelling to the United Kingdom are not entitled to Housing Association accommodation on the basis of their immigration status. • You may be excluded if you have a history of serious rent arrears or anti social behaviour.
