SEC Coaches Salaries Not too long ago, many SEC baseball head coaches were making five-figure salaries. Today, at least five coaches receive a guaranteed annual income of $500,000 or more. The Birmingham News made open-record requests to each SEC school for its coach’s contract and outside income. Arkansas was the only public school that did not provide its coach’s contract, choosing instead to release some financial information. Vanderbilt, a private school, also did not provide information. The amounts for every coach but did not include camp income, which can also be lucrative.
