India's COVID cases increased by a daily record of 55,078 in the past 24 hours. c. As per Jhon Hopkins University stats US has reported 1,379 new deaths from COVID in the past 24 hours. d. Zimbabwe’s agriculture minister Perrance Shiri has died from the COVID infection. e. FBI has accused Chinese backed hackers for targeting US based COVID vaccine firm Moderna. f. WHO has said that young people not adhering to COVID SOPs during summer holidays are partly driving a spike in new COVID cases. g. Australia’s second biggest city Melbourne orders 36 suburbs locked down to stop virus spike. h. WHO urges countries to support 'COVAX' vaccine scheme. i.
