President Trump expressed that opening up US economy again will be one of toughest decision of his tenure. b. The World Health Organisation (WHO) warned countries to be cautious about lifting restrictions which may cause un-precedented spread of COVID-19. c. As per South Korean Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, possibility of “reactivation of virus” is more likely rather than patients being re-infected. d. Fifty crew members on French aircraft carrier ‘Charles de Gaulle’ have tested positive for the COVID-19. e. More than one hundred Pakistanis died due to COVID-19 in New York region, since the start of outbreak. 10. National a. Chief Minister Punjab Mr Usman Buzdar requested people to support the government by staying indoors. b. Pakistan Engineering Council has restored number of out of order ventilators. Moreover, Ministry of Science and Technology announced that private hospitals can avail the assistance on assurance that ventilators will be utilized free of cost for COVID patients. c. Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing to doctors stated that work load on them will increase in coming days; assuring them for provision of all necessary equipment for their protection. d. Rs 9,867.4 Million has been distributed to 6,73,946 individuals through designated sale points under Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme. e. A call for celebrating Easter at homes is receiving a mixed response. f. Pakistan Mission in Colombo has requested for a special flight for evacuation of 80 x stranded Pakistanis from Sri Lanka and 25 x Pakistanis from Maldives. MoFA may see viability of their safe return as per policy. 4 .
