In front of the largest crowd ever to see the Irish play in South Bend - 5,022, capacity at the new home of Irish hockey - Lee scored once in each period for the second hat trick of his career. Senior defenseman Sean Lorenz and junior center Riley Sheahan added the other goals for Notre Dame. Joel Malchuk and Johnny Rogic scored for RPI in the loss. THE BASICS The win lifted the sixth-ranked Irish to 3-2-0 on the season while the Engineers fell to 1-4-0 for the year. 2013-14 RECORD 2013-14 RECORD 15-16-6, 8-9-5 ECAC Hky 23-15-2, 9-9-2 Hockey East Notre Dame started the scoring midway through the fi rst period with Lee burying a shot past Rensselaer Goals/Game: 2.81 Goals/Game: 3.00 goaltender Byrce Merriam at 9:21 on a play set up by T.J.
