This is the confirmed itinerary for the 2018 March of the Living. As always, the itinerary is subject to some change and the order of each day will vary according to the individual bus group.

Monday, April 9 | Depart for • Depart from JFK Airport in the evening on our supervised group flight

Tuesday, April 10 | Introduction to Jewish Europe • Arrive to Krakow in the early afternoon and meet our local staff team • Tour of Kazimierz – Krakow’s historic Jewish Quarter dating back to the 14th Century • Trace the history of at the Krakow Ghetto and Oscar Schindler Factory • Overnight: Krakow Hotel - Poland Wednesday, April 11 | Auschwitz & Birkenau • Visit the grounds of Auschwitz and tour Birkenau Death Camp • Take part in a ceremony at the restored Oswiecem Synagogue on the outskirts of Auschwitz • Evening: Group processing and sharing opportunities • Overnight: Krakow Hotel - Poland Thursday, April 12 | Yom HaShoah – Holocaust Remembrance Day • Return to Auschwitz and join thousands of teens to take part in the March of the Living • Take part in the official Yom HaShoah ceremony at Birkenau • Evening: Return to Krakow - Group night out at Market Square • Overnight: Krakow Hotel - Poland Friday, April 13 | Majdanek and Lublin • Travel north through Poland's Galicia countryside • Explore the grounds of the Majdanek • Arrive to Warsaw, check-in to our accommodations and prepare for Shabbat • Kabbalat Shabbat services as a group • Evening: Oneg Shabbat and community-building activities • Overnight: Warsaw Hotel - Poland Saturday, April 14 | Uprising • Shabbat programming and lunch in Warsaw • Explore the remains of the courageous - Gathering place before transfer to Treblinka Death Camp • Havdallah – Mark the end of Shabbat and the start of the new week • Evening: Program with Jewish teens from Warsaw • Overnight: Warsaw Hotel - Poland Sunday, April 15 | Treblinka • Visit the groundbreaking Museum of the History of Polish Jews • Final reflections and ceremony at the Treblinka Memorial

• Travel to the Warsaw Airport and check-in for our overnight flight to Israel

Monday, April 16 | Arriving to the Jewish Homeland • Arrive to Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport in the early morning • Celebrate our arrival to the Jewish Homeland with a sunrise ceremony on Masada • Experience floating at the Dead Sea’s Ein Bokek beach • Ascend to Jerusalem, stopping for panoramic views at Mt. Scopus • Check-in to our hotel in the Jerusalem hills and relax for the rest of the day • Overnight: Yearim Guest House, Jerusalem Hills, Israel Tuesday, April 17 | Vision and Sacrifice • Honor the soldiers and leaders of modern Israel at Mt. Herzl National Cemetery • Eat lunch and explore the Mahane Yehuda marketplace • Learn about Israel’s democratic institutions at the Supreme Court • Return to our accommodations and meet a Knesset member • Freshen up and prepare for the start of Israel’s modern national holidays • Evening: Participate in an Erev Yam Hazikaron (Israeli Memorial Day) ceremony at the historic Latrun Fortress • Overnight: Yearim Guest House, Jerusalem Hills- Israel Wednesday, April 18 | Yom HaZikaron – Israeli Memorial Day • Enter the Old City at Zion Gate and explore the Jewish Quarter, including a visit to the restored Hurva Shul • Observe the Yom HaZikaron national siren and witness Israeli society come to a complete standstill • Reflect at the Kotel- The Western Wall • Recount the battle for Jerusalem in 1967 at Ammunition Hill • Evening: Celebrate the beginning of Yom HaAtzmaut (Israeli Independence Day) at Ben Yehuda Street • Overnight: Yearim Guest House, Jerusalem Hills- Israel Thursday, April 19 | Yom Ha’Atzma’ut – Israeli Independence Day • Sleep in from the previous night’s festivities • Hear from a guest speaker about the latest developments in Israel • Re-join the groups from around the world for the March in Jerusalem • Evening: Celebrate the 70th anniversary of Israel’s Independence at the March of the Living’s “Central Event” • Overnight: Yearim Guest House, Jerusalem Hills- Israel Friday, April 20 | The Spirit of Tel Aviv • Depart for Tel Aviv, Israel’s cultural and commercial capital • Visit the Museum of the Jewish People- The Diaspora Museum

• Evening: Kabbalat Shabbat on the slopes of Mt. Carmel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea • Overnight: ANA Haifa Guest House, Haifa- Israel Saturday, April 21 | Shabbat on the Beach • Morning Shabbat programming • Walk to the Mediterranean shores for afternoon beach time in Haifa • Celebrate Havdallah and the start of the new week in Israel • Evening: Dance Israel activity • Overnight: ANA Haifa Guest House, Haifa- Israel Sunday, April 22 | Looking to the Future • Tour of the Technion • Explore Ein Hod artists’ colony • Continue south along the Mediterranean Coast • Closing session and dinner party feast at Neot Kedumim Park • Return to Ben Gurion Airport for overnight back to North America Monday, April 23 |Shalom U’Lhitarot • Arrive back to New York Airport in the morning
