We are living hard times that makes it difficult for many of us continuing to work. For this reason, based on a guide prepared by our Spanish friends, we have created a small guide for people who want to try working online.
Here you will find lots of information on the tools you need, the type of service to offer, the platforms to use, how to receive payments and finally how to work in a serene and safe way.
We know that for many people it’s hard, if not impossible, to work online (single mothers, cohabitations with family members or friends who don’t know what we do), but we’ll ac- company you and support you in discovering this new way of work. It’s important to keep in mind that online work especially exposes you to greater visibili- ty: the contents of the materials you will offer, no matter how many precautions you take, will be available on the internet by anyone. Sex work involves a very heavy stigma: Am I prepared to endure it?

2. Required tools
To get started you will need some basic tools:
▪ Internet; ▪ a mobile phone or a computer with webcam;
▪ an email address (some colleagues use ProtonMail because it guarantees your privacy); ▪ a bank account or other forms of receiving payments. (Don’t worry if you don't have documents, you can still find a way to get paid, then we'll sort it out).
There are others useful things, but not strictly necessary:
• A profile on social or dating apps to find clients and promote you, e.g. Twitter and Badoo (be careful to censorship: these social networks aren’t fa- vorable to our work and can delete your account!); • Apps such as Telegram (which doesn’t require your mobile number), WhatsApp, We Chat or Snapchat to chat and send photos and videos to your clients; • An additional sim card; • Programs to edit videos and make them cooler, e.g. Inshot and OpenShot.

There are several ways to make money from sexual telework:
- Live shows through platforms or independently;
- Sale of videos and photos through platforms or independently;
- Sexting or hotline through platforms or independently;
- Sale of underwear or lingerie through platforms or independently.
4. Live shows
It's about doing live shows via webcam or with your mobile. You can choose between two options: work through platforms or independently.

Searching on internet you can find many platforms. We don’t recommend some of them because they hold a large percentage of your earnings. Intimate Advice: read all the conditions carefully before creating an account; the re- tained percentages vary from 40 to 60% and some allow you to withdraw the mon- ey only when you have reached a minimum figure earned. It’s also important to consider in which countries you want to share your contents: there are Italian webpages but also international ones (where there is more competi- tion and the most used language is English).

4 • How do they work?
First you have to register on the platform: fill in your personal data, the number of your bank account and your email. Then you will have to verify it by inserting a photo of your documents. Don’t worry they won’t share your data. When your profile has been approved, create a description of yourself (be creative), clarify what you do and what you don't do, decide the prices of everything you do and the charge per minute. Once ready, start the live broadcast and wait for your clients. Some platforms allow you, in addition to live shows, to insert paid photos and videos.
It takes a lot of patience. It’s possible to spend hours in front of the cam and do noth- ing, or earn very little, but don’t give up!
In platforms like Cam4 and Chaturbate, there are two types of shows: open chat, in which customers will buy a kind of virtual currency ("tokens") that they will send you during the show. We advise you to invent games or challenges to receive more tokens, for example: "I'll show you my ass if we get to 600 tokens". The other type of show is the private chat, in which there will be only the person who will pay. If you don't want to go to private chat, you can decline the invitation. Xmodels works a little differently. There is the open chat where people can send you
"gifts" (eg: � = 0.30 cent) but you cannot show yourself naked, the private chat and the VIP chat, which will earn you more. These platforms ask to have a checking account, but don't worry if you don't cur- rently have the documents in Italy, you can use the documents of your country of origin. Here are some possibilities:

Some of the services just mentioned are not active for some countries: before entering your data, check that your country of origin is included among those in which they are available!
• AUTONOMY
If you don't want to use the platforms we talked about before, you can sell your live shows independently, by making video calls.
• How does it work?
First of all, decide which applications to use for making video calls. You can use SkypePrivate (https://accounts.skyprivate.com/users/login/), Skype (https:// www.skype.com/it/), Jitsi Meet (https://meet.jit.si), or even WhatsApp (https:// www.whatsapp.com). Obviously, without a platform to advertise yourself, to be found you have to pro- vide alternatives. In Italy the best site for this is Mondocamgirl (https://www.mon- docamgirls.com/it/). Intimate Advice: at the beginning you will have to commit yourself a bit more, the world of online sex-working is very competitive. 5. Sale of photos and videos

7. Sale of underwear or lingerie
