I always get a blank and mostly because I think we are the amount of our experiences not our jobs, our diplomas or our bank account. Ooooky doky! I am gonna start by saying that I am Roxanne Miller. I am gonna be 27 soon. I am 1.61m tall and I have 122 cm around the chest. I am size 36K and I weight 80kg. I enterd the adult world in 2010, but I had jobs like acting, radio dj. Two decades ago, the popularization of the internet led to what we refer to here as the first digital disruption: Napster, file-sharing, and the re-ordering of numerous content industries, from music to film to news. The advent of mass streaming has led us to a second digital disruption, one driven by the ability of streaming platforms to harvest massive amounts of data about con- sumer preferences and consumption patterns. Coupled to powerful computing, the data that firms like Netflix, Spotify, and Apple collect allows those firms to know what consumers want in incredible detail. This knowledge has long shaped adver- tising; now it is beginning to shape the content streaming firms purchase or even produce, a phenomenon we call “data-driven creativity.” This Article explores these phenomena across a range of firms and content industries. In particular, we take a close look at the firm that is perhaps farthest along in its use of data-driven crea- tivity.     Institute of Development Studies | bulletin.ids.ac.uk Blurring the Boundaries of Public Health: It’s Time to Make Safer Sex Porn and Erotic Sex Education Anne Philpott, Arushi Singh and Jennie Gamlin Abstract Unsafe sex is now the biggest risk factor for the death of young women globally and the second biggest for young men. Alongside this, pornography, which rarely shows safer sex, is one of the key channels for sex education globally. Higher quality research needs to explore the positive and negative impact of porn while the sex education world needs to engage with it to ensure that viewing porn can promote safe sex choices and consent, as well as pleasure. We need unbiased research and innovation into the impact of porn and recognition that can have a positive impact for public health. Keywords: sexuality education, sexually explicit media, pornography, safe sex, pleasure, condom use. 1 Foreplay ‘Because sex education is rarely sexy and erotica is rarely safe, putting the sexy into safer sex.’ The Pleasure Project, 2004. Increasing access to the internet worldwide has ensured that a large amount of sex education or sexual information is received through watching pornography (referred to in this article as ‘porn’) – material created with the explicit purpose of sexual arousal. In this article, we firstly argue that we need more research to analyse the potential of porn for both positive and negative health impacts, and secondly that porn has the potential to educate about safer sex and can be a source of sex-positive sexuality information. In order to do this we will detail our assessment of research into porn’s impact and highlight a small range of alternative ways to deliver sexual health information within this new context; from safer sex porn to sexy sex education.
