To Mr. Read the thread!! But minority rule is on the ballot. The illusion of governance overshadows the chaos in the nuts and bolts of implementation situated in the agencies charged with making it happen. The decision is simple for me. Ever since, the right has mounted an hysterical campaign to take away the rights granted by the Court -- especially abortion, but also the constitutional right to privacy free choice is based on -- and to secure ever greater privileges for the rich as evidenced most clearly by the Court's recent claim that unlimited campaign spending is protected "free speech". -

Interesting to hear about notorious deals from Trump's perspect I picked this book up from the library out of morbid curiosity, both of the authors Trump and Kiyosaki being assholes with undeserved reputations for business brilliance who use those reputations to sell scammy guru programs and evade taxes. This one was bloody awful. This title is due for release on October 4, Without a doubt, they should deserve the highest commendation! Experts Say Conway May Have Broken Ethics Rule by Touting Ivanka Trump'
From: Tyler Countie To: Contact OGE Subject: Violation of Government Ethics Question Date: Wednesday, February 08, 2017 11:26:19 AM Hello, I was wondering if the following tweet would constitute a violation of US Government ethics: https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/829356871848951809 How can the President of the United States put pressure on a company for no longer selling his daughter's things? In text it says: Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person -- always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible! 10:51am · 8 Feb 2017 · Twitter for iPhone Have a good day, Tyler From: Russell R. To: Contact OGE Subject: Trump"s message to Nordstrom Date: Wednesday, February 08, 2017 1:03:26 PM What exactly does your office do if it's not investigating ethics issues? Did you even see Trump's Tweet about Nordstrom (in regards to his DAUGHTER'S clothing line)? Not to be rude, but the president seems to have more conflicts of interest than someone who has a lot of conflicts of interests. Yeah, our GREAT leader worrying about his daughters CLOTHING LINE being dropped, while people are dying from other issues not being addressed all over the country. Maybe she should go into politics so she can complain for herself since government officials can do that. How about at least doing your jobs, instead of not?!?!? Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess it's just easier to do nothing, huh? Sincerely, Russell R. Trump, Celebrity and the Merchant Imaginary
ARTICLE DOI: 10.1057/s41599-018-0177-6 OPEN Trump, celebrity and the merchant imaginary Barry King 1 ABSTRACT This article explores the social ontological basis of Trumpism as a form of populism, historically defined as government by personal rule. For many commentators, the key feature of Trump’s presidency is its fundamental irrationality. The President has variously described as ‘dumb’, ‘greedy’, ‘psychotic’,a‘narcissist’ in the grandiose mode, and an ‘egotist’ unfit for public office. This article does not aim to dissent from these kinds of conclusions but 1234567890():,; suggests that they partake more of the statement of effects or consequences rather than causes. Indeed, if they are considered as causes they lead to confusion, a kind of ‘attention- deficit disorder’ (which, ironically, some accuse the tweeting President of being a sufferer). Rather this paper suggests that a more systematic examination of the President’s persona reveals it as emerging from a conflation of the discourse of the American family and a merchant imaginary. 1 Auckland University of Technology, Auckland, New Zealand. Trump, a Nationalist and a Populist Leader
Global Journal of HUMAN-SOCIAL SCIENCE: F Political Science Volume 18 Issue 1 Version 1.0 Year 2018 Type: Double Blind Peer Reviewed International Research Journal Publisher: Global Journals Online ISSN: 2249-460x & Print ISSN: 0975-587X Trump, A Nationalist and a Populist Leader By Jose Pinto Lusophone University Abstract- In November 2016, against most expectations, even among some Republican Party’s members, and despite his lack of political experience, as he had never held any public office, Donald Trump won the presidential election in the USA through a campaign conducted against the political elite. During the campaign he presented himself as an outsider, as someone who would upend the corrupt political elite installed in Washington and that had no real touch with the citizens. An elite that was fuelled by money and often forgot the national interests. Trump was right when he believed that voters were expected to show their dissatisfaction at the polls. This essay reflects on the reasons underlying his victory and aims at proving that nationalism and populism were among them. It also tries to demonstrate that nationalism and populism are still present in Trump’s policies. An unorthodox President who, till the moment, is merely following through on his campaign promises and rules over the Un-united States of America. Keywords: USA, Trump, nationalism and populism.
