Dermed kom tekstlinjen "I really really like you" til verden. Innspillingen av videoen til "I Really Like You" foregikk sist uke i New York sammen med Tom Hanks, hvor hennes Schoolboy Records label-kompis Justin Bieber også er med. The song is available for purchase or streaming from all digital partners in the US on March 2 and worldwide on March 3. The single is available in the UK and Ireland via pre-order from March 2. Jepsen wrote the track with J. Kash and The Cardigans’ Peter Svensson, who also produced it. The ’80s-inspired “I Really Like You”is the first single from Jepsen’s upcoming second album, which will be released by Schoolboy Records/Interscope this summer. Jepsen will also perform “I Really Like You” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 5th on ABC. iTunes http://smarturl.it/IReallyLikeYou Spotify http://smarturl.it/IReallyLikeYouSp “Peter Svensson wrote one of my all-time favorite songs, ‘Lovefool,’ and working with him made me rediscover the joy of writing something that’s just pure pop,” Jepsen says. “Lyrically, it’s about that time in a relationship when it’s too soon to say ‘I love you,’ but you’re well past, ‘I like you’ and you’re at the ‘I really, really like you’ stage.” Jepsen shot the video for “I Really Like You” last week in New York City with Tom Hanks. Her Schoolboy Records label-mate Justin Bieber also makes a cameo. The video premiere will be announced soon. The global pop sensation has been hard at work with such collaborators as Rami Yacoub (One Direction, Nicki Minaj), Dev Hynes (Blood Orange), Jack Antonoff (fun., Taylor Swift), Ariel Rechtshaid (Charli XCX, Haim), Tegan and Sara, Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij, Greg Kurstin (Sia) and 2015 Grammy winning Producer of the Year Max Martin, writing and recording the songs that will appear on the follow-up to her U.S. debut album Kiss, which featured her blockbuster break-out hit “Call Me Maybe.” “Call Me Maybe” climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes Singles charts in over 47 countries and has sold over 17 million singles worldwide to date. It earned Jepsen 2012 GRAMMY nominations for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year. Kiss also spawned the follow up hit “Good Time,” a duet with Owl City, which has been certified double-platinum. Jepsen spent much of 2014 starring in the Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’sCinderella, earning rave reviews. IDENTITIES BOUGHT AND SOLD, IDENTITY RECEIVED AS GRACE: A THEOLOGICAL CRITICISM OF AND ALTERNATIVE TO CONSUMERIST UNDERSTANDINGS OF THE SELF By James Burton Fulmer Dissertation Submitted to the Faculty of the Graduate School of Vanderbilt University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY in Religion December, 2006 Nashville, Tennessee Approved: Professor Paul DeHart Professor Douglas Meeks Professor William Franke Professor David Wood Professor Patout Burns ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS I would like to thank all the members of my committee—Professors Paul DeHart, Douglas Meeks, William Franke, David Wood, and Patout Burns—for their support and guidance and for providing me with excellent models of scholarship and mentoring. In particular, I am grateful to Prof. DeHart for his careful, insightful, and challenging feedback throughout the writing process. Without him, I would have produced a dissertation on identity in which my own identity and voice were conspicuously absent. He never tried to control my project but rather always sought to make it more my own. Special thanks also to Prof. Franke for his astute observations and comments and his continual interest in and encouragement of my project. I greatly appreciate the help and support of friends and family. My mom, Arlene Fulmer, was a generous reader and helpful editor. James Sears has been a great friend throughout this process and has always led me to deeper thinking on philosophical and theological matters. Jimmy Barker, David Dault, and Eric Froom provided helpful conversation as well as much-needed breaks. All my colleagues in theology helped with valuable feedback as well.

  • The Example of Swedish Independent Music Fandom by Nancy K
First Monday Online groups are taking new forms as participants spread themselves amongst multiple Internet and offline platforms. The multinational online community of Swedish independent music fans exemplifies this trend. This participant–observation analysis of this fandom shows how sites are interlinked at multiple levels, and identifies several implications for theorists, researchers, developers, industry and independent professionals, and participants. Contents Introduction Fandom Swedish popular music The Swedish indie music fan community Discussion Conclusion Introduction The rise of social network sites is often taken to exemplify a shift from the interest–based online communities of the Web’s “first” incarnation to a new “Web 2.0” in which individuals are the basic unit, rather than communities. In a recent First Monday article, for instance, boyd (2006) states, “egocentric networks replace groups.” I argue that online groups have not been “replaced.” Even as their members build personal profiles and egocentric networks on MySpace, Facebook, BlackPlanet, Orkut, Bebo, and countless other emerging social network sites, online groups continue to thrive on Web boards, in multiplayer online games, and even on the all–but–forgotten Usenet. However, online communities are also taking a new form somewhere between the site-based online group and the egocentric network, distributing themselves throughout a variety of sites in a quasi–coherent networked fashion. This new form of distributed community poses particular problems for its members, developers, and analysts. This paper, based on over two years of participant–observation, describes this new shape of online community through a close look at the multinational online community of fans of independent rock music from Sweden.

Bland de största hitsen senaste åren kan nämnas Ariana Grandes Love Me Harder (3a i USA), USA-ettan och monsterhiten Can't Feel My Face och In The Night (12 i USA), båda framförda av The Weeknd. 1992 bildade hårdrockaren Peter Svensson gruppen The Cardigans tillsammans med Magnus Sveningsson. Fyra år senare slog bandet igenom stort internationellt med världshiten "Lovefool". Världsturneer och ytterligare hits följer, såsom "My Favourite game", "Erase/Rewind" och "I need some fine wine and you, you need to be nicer". Bland Peters största hits de senaste åren kan nämnas Ariana Grandes Love Me Harder (3a i USA), Meghan Trainors Me Too (13e plats i USA) och USA- ettan "Can't Feel My Face" och "In The Night" (12e plats i USA), båda framförda av The Weeknd.
