DESCRIZIONE COROLOGIA / AFFINITA’ Tropicale e sub-tropicale indopacifica. Carapace marcatamente convesso, quasi emisferico, liscio. Regione frontale ristretta, ripiegata verso l’alto. Orbite profonde, che DISTRIBUZIONE ATTUALE ricoprono completamente i piccoli occhi. Angolo Mar Rosso, Oceano Indiano epibranchiale laterale ripiegato in basso, verso la base dei chelipedi. Una cresta finemente granulata orla il carapace dal margine epibranchiale al PRIMA SEGNALAZIONE IN MEDITERRANEO margine posteriore dorsale. Chelipedi simmetrici, 1953, Israele (Holthuis, 1956). massici, con grossi tubercoli ben visibili.

COLORAZIONE - Carapace con un’impronta marrone a forma di M in posizione anteriore, due macchie submediane ORIGINE posteriori, pereopodi con una banda basale Oceano Indiano marrone.
VIE DI DISPERSIONE PRIMARIE FORMULA MERISTICA Probabile migrazione lessepsiana attraverso il - Canale di Suez.
