The Chapter Youth Council is the supreme deliberative body of the Red Cross youth Bohol Chapter which develops among the youth the spirit of humanitarian and social service by giving them opportunities to participate in youth programs. The Chapter Youth Assembly is held biennially. lt is participated by our active and committed RCY Leaders with their respective Advisers all over Bohol. Further, the Red Cross Youth - Bohol Chapter will hold the 5th Chapter Youth Assembly to enhance opportunities among our youth members to hold a position in the Chapter Youth Council. The Chapter Youth Assembly is designed to improve their skills in decision making. ln this light, may we request from your good office for endorsement of the said activity to our public and Private Schools under the Bohol Division who has a Red Cross Youth Councilto support this event. The abovementioned activity will be held in Reyna's Haven and Garden, Cogon District, Tagbilaran City, Bohol on January L6-L7, ZOL6. It is participated by our active and committed RCY Volunteers with their respective Advisers all over Bohol with the objective to; {1) discuss and collaborate on what strategies and plans are needed as a solution to the relevant issues and concerns that have been encountered in each council; {2}formulate and share best practices and ways to intensify the Volunteers' moral, self-worth and dignity and assessing the quality of leadership among the RCY'S in Bohol Chapter; and {3} develop individual advocacies for the youth programs. Specific Objectives: 1. To elect a new set of Chapter Youth Council Officer for Administrative Year 2015-2017; 2. To create a Plan of Action for the next CyC A.y. ZOLS-ZOL7; 3. To announce the nominees for the 'search for Bohol's Ten Outstanding Red Cross youth ZOL6': 4. To have an update of each council's trends and activities; 5. Strategic Planning of the League of Advisers; 5. To work with Philippine Red Cross Bohol Chapter in formulation of policies and in management of youth programs; To 7. assist, advise and serve as the focal points of coordination to all Junior Red Cross {JRC}, Senior Red Cross Youth (SRCY), College Red Cross Youth (CRCY) and Community Red Cross Youth (CommRCY) councils. 2l .1 .1. l:: | .; METHODOLOGY The 5th Chapter Youth Assembly is a 2 day activity involved with break-out sessions for the youth advocates of different youth issues such as intensifying youth involvement in the different programs: LDP, HAPE-SAPE, PledgeZ5 and Disaster Management; council's accomplishments report; creating different resolutions for Youth Development; and talk about the topics on Conflict Management, Youth Leadership, Youth involvement on National Development, and Youth Advocates towards Behavioural Change. EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS There will be 200 estimated expected participants from different school council in Bohol. Each school council is entitled to send maximum of 5 official youth delegate, 4 youth observer and 1 school council adviser who each meets the basic qualifications and the requirements' compliance. Must be 15 * 25 years of age * Must be a bona fide member and volunteer of the Philippine Red Cross Bohol Chapter * Must have completed the Leadership Development Program - LDP (strictly required) * Must have been actively involved in RCY activities for a minimum of one (1) year {strictly required) Observer + Must be 12-25 years of age + Must be a bona fide member and volunteer of the Philippine Red Cross Bohol Chapter * Must have Completed the Leadership Development program - LDp * Must be actively involved in RCY activities for at least one (1) year CouncilAdviser + Must have attended a Council Management Training (optional for the new advisers and newly established councils) * Must provide a certification of being an RCY Council Adviser duly signed by the University President/ Campus Director/ Carnpus or School Director/ School Principal 4I",r..,:1. c. All documents must be received by the Chapter Youth Council on or before January g,2AL6. D. RCY volunteers who will run for the Chapter Youth Council position must fill-up the official nomination form duly signed by the nominee that shall be submitted to the committee on Nominations and Elections before the nomination deadline as set by the aforementioned committee.
