‘DEBBIE MACOMBER’S CEDAR COVE’ – Season 3 CAST BIOS ANDIE MACDOWELL (Olivia Lockhart) – Andie MacDowell has established herself as an accomplished actress and spokesperson with worldwide recognition. On the small screen, MacDowell stars in Hallmark Channel’s #1 series, “Cedar Cove.” She portrays Judge Olivia Lockhart, a respected small-town municipal court judge who considers leaving the beautiful lake town where she raised her family to take a federal judgeship. The series is based on the bestselling books by Debbie Macomber. Previously MacDowell was featured on the ABC Family series “Jane By Design” and starred in the Lifetime movies, “At Risk” and “The Front,” both based on Patricia Cornwell crime novels. She earned praise for her performance in the Emmy® nominated HBO original film “Dinner with Friends” and co-starred with Rosie O’Donnell in the CBS telefilm “Riding the Bus with My Sister,” directed by Anjelica Huston. On the big screen, MacDowell earned the worldwide title of #1 female box-office draw with her performances in the smash hit romantic comedy “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” for which she received a Golden Globe® nomination and the western “Bad Girls” with Drew Barrymore. She also starred alongside Bill Murray in Harold Ramis’ holiday classic “Groundhog Day,” which was recently inducted into the Library of Congress’ National Film Registry. In other comedies MacDowell continued to partner with top leading men including Gerard Depardieu in “Green Card,” for which she again earned a Golden Globe® nomination, Michael Keaton in “Multiplicity” and John Travolta in “Michael.” She first received critical acclaim and accolades for her performance as a repressed young wife in Steven Soderbergh’s “sex, lies and videotape.” The film won the Palme d'or at Cannes and garnered MacDowell the Independent Spirit Award and the Los Angeles Film Critics Award for Best Actress as well as her first Golden Globe® nomination. Additionally, she has been presented with the coveted Cesar D’Honneur for her body of work, the Golden Kamera Award from Germany’s Horzu Publications and the Taormina Arte Award for Cinematic Excellence. MacDowell’s dramatic feature performances have included “The End of Violence,” directed by Wim Wenders, which was selected to screen at the opening of the 50th Anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival; Robert Altman’s “The Player” and “Short Cuts,” for which the cast earned a special Golden Globe® Award for Best Ensemble and a Special Volpi Cup Award at the Venice Film Festival; “Unstrung Heroes,” directed by Diane Keaton and the ever-popular “St. Elmo’s Fire.” MacDowell can next be seen alongside Channing Tatum in Warner Bros’ “Magic Mike XXL” and her more recent film credits have included 2011’s “Footloose,” “Monte Carlo” and the indie feature “Mighty Fine” with Chazz Palminteri and her own daughter Rainey Qualley. For her philanthropic work, MacDowell was presented with an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Lander University and received an Honor of the Arts from Winthrop College. MacDowell has served as the national spokesperson for both The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund and the American Heart Association. MacDowell currently sits on the board of the National Forest Foundation. MacDowell began her career as a model and appeared in international ad campaigns for brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Vassarette, Armani perfume, Sabeth-Row and Bliss Blass. Since 1986, MacDowell has been the global spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris cosmetics and hair products. MacDowell’s long-standing relationship with the brand has made history as the longest consecutive relationship between a beauty brand and spokesmodel. ### DYLAN NEAL (Jack Griffith) – Dylan Neal was born in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Shortly thereafter, his family moved to Oakville, just west of Toronto, where he spent the remainder of his childhood. As a young student, he attended the prep school Appleby College, where he was introduced to the game of squash. Neal quickly fell in love with the sport and was soon playing for Canada at an international level. Towards the end of his teenage years, after many years of traveling across North America on the amateur squash circuit, Neal decided a professional squash career was not for him. By this time, Neal was attending Blakelock High School, where he was enrolled in the drama program. At the urging of his drama teacher, Neal signed with a Toronto talent agent and began auditioning professionally. It didn’t take long for Neal to realize this was the direction his career would take. In 1992, he moved to Los Angeles where his career quickly took off. Neal is a well-recognized face on television having had series regular roles in eight American television series, including Aaron Spelling’s “Pacific Palisades,” “Hyperion Bay” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch.” He has had many major recurring roles including "Dr Anthony Ivo" in the CW's breakout TV series "Arrow," and his five-year stint on “Dawson’s Creek” playing Pacey’s brother, "Doug Witter.” He has had the good fortune of working opposite some of the biggest names in Hollywood and recently had a lead role opposite Val Kilmer in the Paramount Pictures thriller, “The Traveler” and a supporting role in the Universal feature “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Entering its third season, Neal currently plays “Jack Griffiths” in Hallmark Channel’s hit Original Primetime Series, “Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove.” Most recently, Neal and his wife Becky Southwell, sold four TV movies to Hallmark Channel through their company, Southwell Neal Entertainment, including the Mystery Movie franchise for the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, "Gourmet Detective," based on the novels by Peter King. Neal serves as executive producer, co-writer and star of all three films from the anthology series, with Becky also executive producing and writing. The first in the series premiered May, 2015, with the second installment slated for August, 2015. The pair will also produce an original romantic dramedy, which Becky will write with Dylan executive producing on Hallmark Channel. On occasion, he can also be spotted in his workshop, where Neal, an avid wood worker, has for years recreated 18th and 19th century period furniture. ### COLIN FERUGUSON (Paul) – Canadian actor, director and producer Colin Ferguson is best known for his starring turn as Sheriff Jack Carter on Syfy’s “Eureka.” He has appeared in over three dozen television series and films, including the American remake of the British hit sitcom “Coupling,” Universal Pictures’ 2007 film “Because I Said So” opposite Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore, Syfy’s “Haven,” TNT’s “Major Crimes” and most recently, CW’s “The Vampire Diaries.” Born and raised in Montreal, Ferguson got his start as a member of the Montreal improv group “On the Spot.” Although he is most recognized for his starring role in “Eureka” from 2006 to 2012, his many television credits include the mini-series “Armistead Maupin’s More Tales of the City,” TV movies “Inside the Osmonds,” “Daydream Believers: The Monkees’ Story,” “Americana” and “Confessions of a Sociopathic Social Climber,” a lead role in the TV series “Then Came You” and guest-starring roles on “Becker,” “Titus,” “The Outer Limits,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Malcolm in the Middle,” “My Boys, “CSI: Miami,” “Happily Divorced” and “Major Crimes,” to name a few. In addition, he starred in the feature film “The Opposite of Sex,” alongside Christina Ricci, Martin Donovan and Lisa Kudrow. In 2011, Ferguson was a guest presenter for sci-fi news show “Hydraspace.” He also served as producer and director on nearly a dozen episodes of “Eureka” during its six season run. In January 2014, Ferguson became the latest actor to portray the iconic “Maytag Man,” starring in the appliance brand’s comedic commercials. ### TERYL ROTHERY (Grace Sherman) – Actress Teryl Rothery always knew she wanted to be an entertainer. Her first role came as a dancer in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at age thirteen, before she went on to land her first television appearance on CBC. A Vancouver, B.C. native, Rothery has worked in the industry for many years with great success. Rothery trained at the Larry Moss Studio in Los Angeles and Gastown Actors’ Studio and The Shakespeare Centre, both in Vancouver. Her most memorable television role has been Dr. Janet Fraiser on the hit, Emmy®-nominated Sci-Fi series “Stargate SG-1” for seven seasons. Rothery received a 2003 Leo Award nomination for Best Supporting Performance by a Female for her portrayal of Fraiser, the medical officer for the Cheyenne Mountain Facility who faces many peculiar cases.
