Dimanche 30 septembre 2018, les artistes font un Insta live avec leurs fans et se rendent compte que "La Vraie vie 2" fait plus "réédition" que nouvel album. Ils lancent un sondage sur Instagram en demandant à leur fan base s'il faut donner un "vrai" nom au nouvel album. A plus de 92%, la communauté répond favorablement. L'idée du titre "La Vie de rêve" leur vient : "Nous on vient de 'La Vraie vie' mais aujourd'hui on est vraiment dans 'La vie de rêve'". Bigflo & Oli. The Return / Sampa The Great. 2 SAM 90 Hip-Hop Née en Zambie, élevée au Botswana et aujourd'hui installée en Australie, la rappeuse, chanteuse et poétesse a sorti en 2017 sa fameuse mixtape "Birds and the BEE9", saluée par la critique. Son premier album met en vedette des productions de Silentjay (de Rhythm Section) et Kwes Darko (de Slowthai) ainsi que des collaborations avec Ecca Vandal, Blue Lab Beats, Jazz-collectif Steam Down et bien d'autres. Le disque est accompagné d'un documentaire intitulé "Homecoming" qui explore les différentes thématiques abordés dans les titres, et qui a été tourné en Australie, en Zambie et au Botswana. Remarquée par ses incroyables prestations scéniques, parfois intimistes, ou plus récemment en ouverture de Coldplay, Lianne La Havas nous invite aujourd'hui au plus proche de son univers avec ce nouvel opus éponyme. Le producteur a invité le groupe chez lui, à Nashville, et ils ont créé ensemble l'album le plus varié de leur collaboration. Pour cet opus le groupe a pris différentes directions, sans jamais se fixer de limite afin de laisser libre cours à sa créativité, revenant cependant à ses racines et redonnant ainsi un sens au nom Deep Purple pour les fans de la première heure. Ces dernières années Deep Purple a progressivement évolué vers de nouveaux horizons, intriguant les fans pas encore nés lorsque la "machine Purple" dominait le monde de la musique. Le succès de leurs albums "In rock" (1970), "Machine head" (1972) et "Made in Japan" (1973) les avait propulsés parmi les leaders en termes de ventes de billets de concerts et d'albums à travers le monde, notamment grâce à des hits tel que l'immortel "Smoke on the water". La fougue de Red Sonja, la "Guerrière Rouge", s'inspire de l'héroïne éponyme née dans une nouvelle de science-fiction des années 1930, transformée ensuite par Marvel en combattante hypersexualisée, vêtue d'un bikini en cotte de maille. Lolomis s'empare à son tour de cette figure afin de redonner la parole à celles qui l'ont trop souvent perdue. Bulgare, Géorgien, Serbe, Romani, Macédonien, Ladino... La ronde des langues déploie ses mille sonorités et couleurs, de harpes et de flûtes entremêlées, virevoltant et répondant aux productions électroniques sur un tapis de percussions tribales guerrières. 5 Ahaney / Tikoubaouine. 019 TIK Musiques du monde et coutumes Ce groupe de blues du désert originaire de Tamanrasset et d'Adrar chante l'amour et la fraternité en Targui et dialecte algérien. Il a participé à de nombreux festivals nationaux et internationaux. En juillet 2016, le groupe sort son premier album en Algérie intitulé "Dirhane" (le souhait), 12 compositions originales aux mélodies et rythmes variés, pleines de chaleur, de couleurs d'Afrique et du désert. Le groupe est de retour avec ce second opus intitulé "Ahaney" (honnêteté) et qui comprend 12 titres originaux. Gnawa : music from Maroco / Altaf Gnawa Group. 021 ALT Musiques du monde et coutumes Songs of our mothers / Kefaya. 029 KEF Musiques du monde et coutumes La chanteuse afghane et le duo de producteurs Kefaya (Al MacSween et Giuliano Modarelli) joignent leur talent pour un album poignant et hypnotisant mêlant un regard frais et vibrant de la musique folklorique afghane à du jazz spirituel, de l'électro et de la musique indienne traditionnelle. Arrangé et enregistré à Oxford, le disque s'inspire de la condition des femmes en Afghanistan et de l'histoire d'Elaha devenue célèbre grâce à l'émission de télé-réalité "Afghan Star" mais obligée de fuir le pays, persécutée à cause de son opinion franche sur les droits des femmes. Kefaya et Elaha ont donc produit un projet commun, animés par un désir commun d'utiliser la musique comme un outil de dialogue et d'action politique. L'album voit la collaboration de nombreux musiciens de renommées mondiales, reflétant la volonté de présenter un front uni internationalement dans l'expression musicale et politique.     ANNUAL REPORT 2014-15 Cover Artwork Samuel Miller, Ngayuku Ngura Acrylic on linen, 72” x 72” Samuel Miller lives in Kalka, a community located in the North-Western corner of Australia, in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) lands. He grew up in Amata and Pipalyatjara. He is a committed member of Ninuku Arts, a prospering Art Centre that services not only Kalka, but also the neighbouring community of Pipalyatjara some 14 kilometres away. Samuel’s paintings depict the traditional iconography of his land that lies to the east of Pipalyatjara. Rockholes, creeks and hills feature in his paintings. Image courtesy of Ninuku Ninuku Arts is a wholly Aboriginal owned Art Centre that supports artists from two communities – Pipalyatjara and Kalka. Both communities are located in the far north-western corner of South Australia, near the borders with Western Australia and the Northern Territory. The name of the Art Centre derives from ‘Ninuku Tjukurpa’ meaning Bilby Dreaming, which is the main Dreaming story for the country surrounding the Kalka Community. The art centre prides itself on its inclusivity (providing opportunities for all generations) and embracing individuality in artists. Recent clients have included AIR Awards (Australian Independent Records), State Government for the annual Ruby Awards, South Australia’s premier arts awards, Darwin Festival as Music Programmer, Adelaide Festival as Producer of “Picaresque” with Robyn Archer for the 2019 season, Insite Arts, Mercury Cinema, and Adelaide Fringe Festival as content producer in 2018 and Gala Director for the 2020 event. For the past twelve months, she has worked as a consultant for the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium to assist the organisation with developing a public arts program for winter months. This financial year will be remembered by all of us for natural disasters including catastrophic bushfires and floods across Australia, a volcanic eruption in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, and now COVID-19. The pain and suffering experienced by so many of our members and licensees over the past 12 months has been far-reaching and terrible. Musicians and the music industry are always amongst the first to lend a hand to support, lift spirits and raise funds to rebuild community. The COVID-19 context has turned the tables and musicians have needed to put a call out for the support of governments and others. Individual and collective resilience has been tested. We’ve all had to cope with dramatic and unpredictable disruption and change. We’ve had to adapt quickly. Our priority over the past 12 months has been to support both our 108,000+ members and 114,000+ licensees. As the bushfires devastated enormous areas of Australia, and then COVID-19 spread across the globe, we moved quickly to provide direct support and advocate to government the plight of those that live and work in the original gig economy.
