Most fuel-efficient airline 2018 Once again, we rose to the top as the most fuel-efficient airline on transatlantic routes by the ICCT following their initial report released in 2015.

Norwegian Air Argentina – DN code We hereby remind you of Norwegians use of designator codes, newest is DN. Currently DN (NAA/Norwegian Air Argentina) is related to our domestic routes in Argentina.

In sales and operated by DN with flights from 16. October, 2018. DN is currently implemented for sales and booking on Norwegian direct channels, in Amadeus and in Sabre - however soon also to be supported for sales in Galileo as well.

Norwegian now support four designators:

• Norwegian Air Shuttle (NAS): DY prefix • Norwegian Air International (NAI): D8 prefix • Norwegian Air UK (NUK): DI prefix • Norwegian Air Argentina (NAA): DN prefix

Please make sure that all your relevant agents are informed and that your systems are set up correctly to accommodate all designator codes with the prefix DN, DI, DY & D8. Updated information is always available on our Agent web page:

Passenger contact information – GDS bookings We remind you of the importance of correct contact details in every PNR. Remember to correctly insert a contact mobile phone number in all GDS bookings, so that passengers will receive important information from Norwegian per SMS.

Domestic Spain discounts/subsidies – GDS bookings Please note that we experience many PNR’s with multiple resident codes for Domestic Spain-bookings. A person cannot have more than one resident code per booking and mistakes are creating a lot of manual workflows,and could possibly result in you as an agency offering our mutual customers incorrect fares. • Kindly make sure to add only 1 code per person in affected PNR.

EMD-S & EMD-A breaking news! Before October 2018, we only supported EMD-S & EMD-A flows for E-tickets in Amadeus. Today, Norwegian is pleased to inform that EMD-S and EMD-A have been implemented in Galileo/Travelport as well. More info on our Agent web:

Groups on Long-Haul flights; meals included Meals on our long-haul operations are included in all group bookings in GDS (Amadeus), IF the correct input is inserted in the PNR’s. Validity of airfares and ADM procedures Regards to the validity of airfares (tickets not already issued), we hereby repeat the standard in our industry; that airfares and taxes are only valid within the same day as the booking is made (e.g. the day the PNR is priced). The PNR should therefore be updated with a new fare quote/itinerary pricing on the day of ticket issuance. Also applicable for private fares like our IT Fares. For all types of fares, it is important to check the Fare Rules and issue tickets according to Ticketing Time Limit.Please do not manually reprice any e-tickets without a waiver from our Agent Support, that may result in an ADM.

Winter program 2018/2019 – propose a good deal for your customers  The full Norwegian route program is out, and soon most of summer program 2019 as well. Therefore, we can offer a lot of last seat availability for winter to sunny and happy destinations - so do check in the GDS!
