RELEASED: Monday June 20, 2016 Turnbull & Shorten to join Annabel Crabb on Kitchen Cabinet We promised you some very special surprise guests this season of Kitchen Cabinet and heading in to the final stretch of the election campaign we’re pleased to announce that Annabel Crabb will be visiting the Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten. 8pm on Wednesday, June 29 on ABC & iview Annabel Crabb joins Opposition Leader Bill Shorten for a campaign pit stop. 8pm on Thursday, June 30 on ABC & iview Annabel Crabb has lunch with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to find out how he’s faring on the campaign trail. First though, we take a detour at 8pm on Thursday June 23 on ABC & iview as Annabel Crabb joins some of Australia’s top political journalists and campaign staffers as they debrief on the election campaign in a special episode of Kitchen Cabinet - Campaign Cabinet. Up for a chat and some cocktails will be Claire Kimball, who was Tony Abbott’s right-hand woman in his first campaign as Opposition Leader; Lachlan Harris, who steered Kevin Rudd through his election victory in 2007, Insiders regular and Guardian Australia photographer Mike Bowers; and Samantha Maiden, a 20-year press gallery veteran and Sunday political editor for News Corp. On the cocktail list are Mint Julie Bishops, Virgin Bernardi and Coke, Gin and Tonies, Tony Abbott Shandy (ie. Just lemonade) and a special Barnaby themed round – Pistol and Boo Lagoons, Hair of the Dogs and a Virgin Barnaby Wallbanger.
