First, let me say that I purchased a [competitor’s] press a while back Show and have had nothing but problems. These are not huge problems, but a problem is a problem is a problem. Huh, 2015 it is at the factory as I write this letter. Honestly, I have spent a bunch of money on that press: dies, shellplates Page 10 and other items and I am over it. I was so frustrated I decided to break down and get a Dillon. Over the years of reloading I have always used single- Ken stage presses. Here lately, I have been needing to upgrade to a progressive. I have always been told, “Get a Dillon, Hackathorn’s spend the money, you won’t regret it.” Well, you work with what you have, money wise and you buy what you “Wizard Drill” can afford. Bunk! Page 62 After the headaches, downtime and sheer frustration, the additional cost for a Dillon is chicken feed. I am an old welder/fabricator/machinist and I know QUALITY when I see it. The 550B is “Top Notch.” The parts all fit Show & Tell together great. It is a “tight” machine and very, very smooth. The handle and linkage are tight and fit together With the well. Overall, I am very impressed with the machine. I just like everything about it. Let me say this in closing: I Buffalo Gun am SOLD on Dillon products. • Rules and Options
Rules and Options The author has attempted to draw as much as possible from the guidelines provided in the 5th edition Players Handbooks and Dungeon Master's Guide. Statistics for weapons listed in the Dungeon Master's Guide were used to develop the damage scales used in this book. Interestingly, these scales correspond fairly well with the values listed in the d20 Modern books. Game masters should feel free to modify any of the statistics or optional rules in this book as necessary. It is important to remember that Dungeons and Dragons abstracts combat to a degree, and does so more than many other game systems, in the name of playability. For this reason, the subtle differences that exist between many firearms will often drop below what might be called a "horizon of granularity." In D&D, for example, two pistols that real world shooters could spend hours discussing, debating how a few extra ounces of weight or different barrel lengths might affect accuracy, or how different kinds of ammunition (soft-nosed, armor-piercing, etc.) might affect damage, may be, in game terms, almost identical. This is neither good nor bad; it is just the way Dungeons and Dragons handles such things. Who can use firearms? Firearms are assumed to be martial ranged weapons. Characters from worlds where firearms are common and who can use martial ranged weapons will be proficient in them. Anyone else will have to train to gain proficiency— the specifics are left to individual game masters. Optionally, the game master may also allow characters with individual weapon proficiencies to trade one proficiency for an equivalent one at the time of character creation (e.g., monks can trade shortswords for one specific martial melee weapon like a war scythe, rogues can trade hand crossbows for one kind of firearm like a Glock 17 pistol, etc.).

This doesn’t mean to imply that other types of blades and knives, such as Fantasy or Art knives, have no merit in the cutlery world. Definitely not! As these knives are limited only by the artist’s imagination and skills, it is exciting to see what will come along next in this exciting arena of knife design.

  • The Future of Reloading
Lyman® 2020 The Future of Reloading Innovative Products for Shooters Since 1878 New Beginnings - Mark 7 is now part of the Lyman family! During Lyman’s long history in the manufacture of quality reloading equipment, the most frequent question we received from our customers was “when is Lyman going to make a progressive press”. Well, in 2019 we addressed that question in a big way! To expand our capabilities for serving the worldwide reloading community, Lyman acquired Mark 7 Reloading, a company that we feel offers the most dynamic and innovative line of loading equipment in the world. Starting in 2014, the Mark 7 story began with the introduction of the Autodrive system for automating the popular series of presses from Dillon Precision, including the 650 and 1050 models. The Mark 7 Autodrive transforms presses from manual to automatic and reloaders can experience the pleasure of watching thousands of loaded rounds filling up their ammo boxes in less than an hour automatically! Not satisfied, the Mark 7 team then added a full line of sensors to make the machines run more efficiently for the user. Soon after introducing the Autodrive, Mark 7 decided to take modern reloading to an even higher level and introduced the Revolution 10-Stage Automated loading platform.
