FAIRMONT LUXURY ROOM UPEXPRESS

Modern Luxury Continues to Expand at The Fairmont Royal York

The Fairmont Royal York proudly welcomes a number of positive and much anticipated revitalizations internally and externally throughout the hotel. Last year, The Fairmont Royal York unveiled its newly renovated Fairmont Luxury Rooms; a fresh, modern addition to the regal elegance that is synonymous with the hotel. Our newly renovated rooms have been designed by Jinnie Kim Design, a Boston based group of architects and interior design professionals specializing in hotels with over 20 years of experience.

The Fairmont Royal York is thrilled to announce that the next phase of the multi-million dollar renovation plan is currently underway, with anticipated completion by the end of 2014. Located on the 7th and 8th floors, 229 newly renovated Fairmont Luxury Rooms are currently available for the comfort of guests visiting Toronto’s landmark hotel. By the end of 2014, the hotel will have four additional floors fully renovated, for a total of 510 rooms refurnished and redesigned. Additional plans include more than 800 rooms renovated by the summer of 2015.

UPExpress A convenient and reliable source of transportation between Canada’s two busiest transportation hubs is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2015. Just in time for the Pan Am Games, the UPExpress is an innovative rail link that will connect Toronto’s with Toronto Pearson International Airport. Each one-way trip will take approximately 25 traffic-free minutes, adding an element of luxury transportation to and from the city.

Exterior Revitalization Located directly across from The Fairmont Royal York is Canada’s busiest train station, a designated National Historic Site and an important part of Toronto’s history; Toronto’s Union Station. A multi-million dollar beautification project is currently underway to improve the travel experience for commuters within Union Station including bigger and brighter concourses, new PATH connections to Air Canada Centre and and to ultimately reshape the way travelers experience this iconic destination. Substantial project completion is expected in early 2015.
