We have adequate facilities within my neighborhood to go any where I want to go there.

225 I only ride for recreation. 226 I use to live in Bon Air/grew up there. I get back at least once a month to visit friends and family. When in town, I often bring my bike or I actually bike in from Williamsburg. I know that back roads fairly well, but route 147 and Midlothian Turnpike need lots more bicycle infrastructure! I use the the bike lanes, paths, & trails to commute to work, run errands, and to go out to eat via the bicycle. Hence, if you can develop such bicycling infrastructure in my home community, it will benefit at various levels! (ex. I walk to do shopping, eat lunch or dinner, etc. I am a competitive runner and also like the sidewalks, and wide shouldered roads in the area which makes it fairly easy to train. Distance prevents us from going more frequently. Pocohontas is about as far so we don't have many options out in Hampton Park/Woodlake.
