‘CAMPFIRE KISS’ Cast Bios DANICA McKELLAR (Dana) – Danica McKellar is well known as Winnie Cooper on “The Wonder Years” and Elsie Snuffin on “The West Wing,” and recently wowed audiences as a quarterfinalist on the ABC juggernaut “Dancing with the Stars.” She is also a New York Times bestselling author of the groundbreaking books Math Doesn’t Suck, Kiss My Math, Hot X: Algebra Exposed, and Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape. Her newest book is Goodnight Numbers, aimed at parents of young children, seeking to introduce numbers as a friendly and relevant part of their lives. Crown Books for Young Readers is the publisher. Tackling math education and simultaneously breaking the stereotype of the “math nerd,” McKellar was named “Person of the Week” by ABC World News. This honor came on the heels of her debut as author of this highly entertaining and illuminating math book series. After studying in New York at Stella Adler, Uta Hagen’s HB Studios, and Susan Batson’s Black Nexxus, Greene’s commitment to developing his craft continued in Los Angeles at Improv Olympic West and the Actor’s Circle Theater and in work with Nicoli Guzov, Sandy Marshal and Margie Haber. She landed her first television audition in the series, "Highlander." She has since appeared in numerous television and film projects which span over 20 years, including the feature films “The Butterfly Effect,” “Elysium” and “Things We Lost in the Fire,” and the television movie “Flight 93.” She has been married to Hans Bergstrom, a mechanical engineer, since 2005. They have two children. # # # (more) HALLMARK CHANNEL – ‘CAMPFIRE KISS’ – CAST BIOS/Page 3 DYLAN KINGWELL (Arthur) – Dylan Kingwell has guest-starred in two episodes of the new Netflix series “A Series of Unfortunate Events,” had a starring role in the made-for-television thriller “Manny Dearest,” co-starred in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original “The Christmas Note” and appeared in the 2015 Hallmark Channel original movie “Ice Sculpture Christmas.” Kingwell’s feature film credits include Tim Burton’s Big Eyes and The Weinstein Company’s The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet. He was a series regular in “The Returned” and has appeared in episodes of “Supernatural” and “The Tomorrow People.” # # # ALI SKOVBYE (LACEY) – Alissa ‘Ali’ Skovbye was born in Vancouver, Canada. She comes from a Scandinavian background and most of her extended family resides in Sweden and Denmark. Although she did not initially take to acting like her older sister Tiera, Skovbye became curious about acting around the age of four. Shortly after, she booked her first commercial, for Cadillac. At the age of five Skovbye booked a supporting role in the feature film Personal Effects and in 2010, was cast in her first TV project, an episode of the long running series “Smallville.” She has gone on to guest-star in episodes of “Fringe,” ”Supernatural,” “R.L Stine’s The Haunting Hour” and ”Motive” and had recurring roles in “Once Upon a Time” and the Steven Speilberg-produced series “Falling Skies.” Skovbye has co-starred as Abigail in three Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original “Gourmet Detective” movies, and she has a recurring role as Becky in Hallmark Channel’s “When Calls the Heart.” She starred opposite Amber Riley in “My One Christmas Wish” and co-starred with Anne Heche in “One Christmas Eve,” for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination.
