LYNDHURST Lyndhurst is located on the Rideau Heritage Route and is home to many unique shops, and the oldest bridge in Ontario. The love of heritage and culture in Lyndhurst is so strong that when the bridge was threatened to be replaced by a modern 2 Lane bridge, the residents organized protests that eventually convinced the govern- ment to cease and desist. In 2018, Lyndhurst was voted “runner-up” by Ontario Culture Days for their Annual September Culture Tour.

LANSDOWNE A cute little rural town that once was a hotspot for its proximity to Highway 2 and then the CN Railroad. With some interesting historic landmarks and a surprising number of events including an Annual Textile Festival, Fair and a Horse Festival, Lansdowne is worth a visit.
