BANNISTER ENGINEERING, LLC – FIRM OVERVIEW

Bannister Engineering, LLC is a /Fort Worth based professional services firm providing Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Hydrology, Landscape Architecture, Land Planning, and MEP design services throughout Texas. These services, with the exception of Land Surveying, are also available for projects in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Our projects range in size from hundreds of acres of land development to less than 1,000 square feet of tenant finish-out design. We have performed surveys for properties in excess of 3,000 acres. We are registered with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers (TBPE #10599) and the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveyors (TBPLS #10193823). We are also registered in the various other states where we provide professional services.

Bannister Engineering, LLC was founded in May of 2007 by T. Jason Bannister, P.E. In June of 2008, Mr. Bannister organized the company as Bannister Engineering, LLC and became the firm’s President. In September of 2008, the firm gained a valuable leader when Jeff Linder, RLA, LEED-AP joined the company to become Bannister Engineering’s Vice President. In 2017, in recognition of his 10 years of dedicated service, and honoring him as the first employee ever hired by the firm, Cody R. Brooks, P.E. was inducted as an additional owner in the firm.

Bannister Engineering, LLC employs a staff of approximately 40 talented individuals, including licensed professional engineers, graduate engineers and engineers-in-training, registered landscape architects, hydrologists and certified floodplain managers, professional land surveyors, survey field personnel, engineering designers, CAD technicians, and support personnel. We have four survey field crews, each headed by an experienced crew chief and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.

Overview: Jason Bannister began his career in the spring of 1993 as an engineering intern with the transmission and distribution divisions of Georgia Power Company. Since that time, Jason has worked for several engineering consulting firms, both large and small, and a north central Texas municipal public works department. In May of 2007, Jason set out to found an engineering firm dedicated to client service. In June of 2008, Mr. Bannister formally organized the company as Bannister Engineering, LLC and became the firm’s President.

Overview: Jeff Linder started his professional career in the summer of 1993 as an intern with the Texas Department of Transportation. After graduation from Texas A&M University in May of 1995, Jeff began working as a graduate landscape architect for Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Jeff joined Bannister Engineering, LLC in 2008 and became a Principal owner in the firm.

Overview: Cody began his career in 2000 as an instrument-man on a field survey crew. In 2002 he accepted the role of engineering design technician with a large national engineering firm. In 2007, Cody was hired by Jason Bannister and holds the distinction of Bannister Engineering’s first employee. Throughout his career, Cody has served in a variety of roles including field surveyor, survey technician, designer, project engineer, project manager, and Director of Civil Engineering.
