Friday April 8th - Magic Kingdom Park Hours: 9:00am - 12:00pm Magic Hours: 8:00am – 9:00am Welcome to the Most Magical Place on Earth! This is by far our favorite of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, and after today you will understand why! We have created a plan that covers a great deal of ground for you and hope that you will feel the magic from the moment you enter! Enjoy the sights and sounds of this amazing theme park and be sure to take a few photos in front of the iconic Cinderella Castle! *Note: If your day gets off track from the itinerary times, simply ignore the actual times and do the attractions in the order in which they are listed. Magic Kingdom TIP: If the kids would like to meet Anna and Elsa at Fairytale Hall and you do not have a FastPass+ you will need to report to the Magic Kingdom at least 45 minutes prior to park opening. Be there early! We strongly recommend arriving to the park at 30 minutes before and running straight to the Fairytale Hall with your entire party as soon as the rope drops. 8:13am - Space Mountain (69) - 3,2,1… BLAST OFF on this amazing roller coaster that will take you out of this world (in the DARK)! *Note: 44” height requirement. You can use the Rider Switch option if you would both like to ride and the kids cannot ride or do not want to. 8:32am - Astro Orbiter (70) – The kids will be the pilot of their own spaceship as they circle high (VERY high) above Tomorrowland for an astronaut’s eye view! 8:47am - Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor (74) - At this interactive show the kids can laugh and trade jokes with the zany characters from Monsters, Inc. 9:24am - Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover (71) - a quiet ride lasting 10 minutes that takes you through Tomorrowland on a vehicle that has no moving parts because it uses a linear induction motor! 9:38am - Tomorrowland Speedway (68) - Put the pedal to the metal while you cruise around this scenic mini roadway! *Note: 38” height requirement. 9:54am - Mad Tea Party (49) - If spinning makes you smile this ride will not disappoint! Hop into a teacup and turn the wheel for a fun ride that has become a timeless classic in the park! 10:02am - Dumbo the Flying Elephant (53) - Up, up and away with Dumbo the elephant! After a recent renovation, there is now a play area for this ride where you can receive a pager that holds your place in line, allowing the kids to play if the wait times are long. We don’t expect this to be the case when you arrive, so we suggest bypassing the play area and proceeding directly through to the remainder of the queue. 10:09pm - The Barnstormer (57) - This junior rollercoaster (great for younger children) allows you to climb aboard a wacky stunt plane with the Great Goofini. *Note-35” height restriction. You can use the Rider Switch option if you would both like to ride and the kids do not want to. 10:17pm - Pete's Silly Side Show meet Goofy, Donald, Minnie and Daisy (55) - At Storybook Circus in Fantasyland to meet some of the Big Top’s biggest stars. Donald plays the role of snake charmer The Amazing Donaldo, while Goofy appears as daring stuntman The Great Goofini. 10:35pm - Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid (51) - This new ride is part of the recent expansion of Fantasyland. You will journey through the story of The Little Mermaid in a clamshell and see colorful adaptations of popular scenes from the movie. The animatronics on this ride are truly amazing- have your camera ready! 11:00am - Move it! Shake It! Dance & Play It!” Street Party (Main Street Circle) (11:00am Parade) - Stand in the circle in front of the castle near the ‘Partners’ Statue and you will be able to see all of the floats and decide which characters the kids would like to interact with. Once the parade stops they will have the opportunity to move into the street and dance their hearts out! So be sure to catch it while you are here! 11:24pm - Enchanted Tales With Belle (45) - At this charming and interactive storytime you will be pulled into a world of whimsy with Belle and Lumiere. (58) - If you like flatbreads we suggest Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland. The menu here was recently updated and includes pizza-like selections that are pretty yummy! 2:15pm - Mickey’s PhilharMagic (43) - In this magical concert hall you will be swept away in the magic of Disney animation in this 3D concert movie starring many favorite Disney characters. This 12-minute experience features kid friendly special effects including light splashes of water and other fun surprises! 2:45pm - Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade - (3:00pm Parade) Celebrate the stories you know and love with popular characters from some of your favorite Disney films. The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is an exciting tribute to New Fantasyland that will dazzle its way down the streets of Magic Kingdom Park! The parade usually begins in Frontierland (near Splash Mountain) and ends on Main Street, USA (at times they reverse the route). We recommend grabbing a spot in Liberty Square or Frontierland as viewing areas in front of Cinderella Castle are often packed with spectators. Additionally, many of the choreographed sequences tire out the performers so it is best to try and catch it toward the beginning. Great viewing areas can be found on the elevated wooden platforms in front of the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, Frontier Trading Post, and the building with the sign reading Frontier Mercantile. Regardless of where you view it, you will need to grab a seat early unless you wish to stand. There is usually only one performance per day you will want to secure a viewing area 30-45 minutes early. 4:34pm - The Magic Carpets of Aladdin (15) - Why don’t you come along with Aladdin on a magic carpet ride!? As you fly high over Agrabah be sure to watch out for the camel- he spits! 5:00pm - Jungle Cruise (17) - This 10-minute boat ride takes you on a journey along some of the world’s most treacherous rivers. Your skipper will guide you safely along the way and will surely share a good joke… or four! 5:36pm - Pirates of the Caribbean (18) - Yo ho ho! Set sail for a swashbuckling ride through the age of piracy. See if the kids can spy a sly Captain Jack Sparrow from The Pirates of the Caribbean film series along the way! 6:12pm - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (27) - A fast paced runaway train ride/rollercoaster that is a crowd favorite! *Note: 40” Height Requirement- use the Rider Switch option if the kids are not tall enough to ride. 6:54pm - Splash Mountain (24) - This log flume ride will take you through the bayou with Br’er Rabbit and his friends. Get ready for adventure as the ride ends with a 5-story SPLASHDOWN! *Note-40” height requirement. Use the Rider Switch option if needed. 7:37pm - Country Bear Jamboree (28) - This hilarious hoedown features 18 animatronic bears performing in a musical revue that celebrates America’s country-western heritage. Fun fact: Country Bear Jamboree is one of the very last attractions that Walt Disney himself personally helped develop. 7:57pm - The Haunted Mansion (35) - Enter your doom buggy and tour a Haunted Mansion full of 999 (mostly) friendly spooks! *Note: Though this ride is considered child-friendly, it is very dark inside- if the kids are easily frightened we suggest you skip this attraction. There is no gore, but some of the subject matter is mildly frightening. 8:23pm - it’s a small world (41) - Disney’s soothing ride through all 7 continents is a personal favorite! There is just something about this nostalgic ride that never disappoints us! Its immense popularity has led it to be re- created in every Disney Resort around the world! One guarantee- you will probably be singing the song for the rest of the day! 8:45pm - Main Street Electrical Parade (start time 9:00pm) - The evening spectacle of glowing, spinning floats is synchronized to a memorable soundtrack called the Baroque Hoedown. The parade begins on Main Street, USA and ends in Frontierland (at times they reverse the route). Because viewing areas in front of Cinderella Castle are often packed with spectators, we recommend grabbing a spot in Liberty Square or Frontierland. If the parade begins on Main Street try to grab a seat outside the Sleepy Hollow snack and beverage shop. You can also try the elevated wooden platforms in front of the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, Frontier Trading Post, and the building with the sign reading Frontier Mercantile. Regardless of where you view it, you will need to grab a seat early unless you wish to stand. 9:30pm - Celebrate the Magic and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular- First witness a 10-minute spellbinding show that traces the longstanding legacy of Disney storytelling and imagination with a projection show that magically transforms Cinderella Castle! Following this magical show Jiminy Cricket narrates the amazing fireworks display that celebrates the power of believing.
