The Tanzania Study Program explores the ways that cultural contexts, political structures, neuroscience, and mental health shape our behavior as humans. Through a blend of political science and psychology, students will become more familiar with the unique combination of factors that govern our individual behaviors as humans and our systemic behaviors as political cultures. Examination of each of these elements in our own lives and in the lives of the people of Tanzania will encourage us to consider how we can best pursue the common good through personal interactions and policy.
